Grade 11 english. I was going to do the hours, but I had already read that book. (We had to do a novel that we hadn't read and that had been made into a movie, which we couldn't have seen before.)

half the books on the list I had already read. :( so lame.

Dude. 800 words? That's it? Your teacher obviously has no faith in the overall intelligence of your class (or she's reallyreallyreally lazy and doesn't want grading these essays to take longer than an hour.) I say go over the 800, you're an intelligent girl and you couldn't possibly make a strong argument in less than 800.

That said, I have a final that the professor recommended be around 1000 words and I'm already at 1019 and I still have another whole text to talk about. Ah, verbosity. Blessing or curse? :lol:
