So today I was thinking about hiphuggers, and decided to watch some of my favorite scenes. One of the ones that came up was "It would be nice if it were Calleigh" scene. BUT I was thinking about how we were all disputing on why she didn't know what he wanted and everything. So i went back and reanalyzed what was written on the paper only about a million times
"Patient is CSI w/ Miami Dade PD. Has been seeing a departmental therapist since sustaining a gunshot injury on the job. Injury to brain has left him w/ [feelings] of forgetfullness and feelings of loss....pertaining his....be second nature.
"Still working through grief....
"...experienced uncontrollable...felt he was "going over the edge"...able to keep him steady...co-worker, Calleigh"
I think that before the co-worker, Calleigh part, it said something like (*AND I AM GUESSING HERE PEOPLE*)
[someone] able to keep him steady. [has expressed interest in] co-worker Calleigh.
So if my guess is correct, Cal really doesn't know what Eric wants. She doesn't know that he likes her (although i am pretty sure she has figured it out by now). She doesn't know the whole "Thinking about my future, settling down. It would be nice if it were Calleigh"
It also works the other way. Eric thinks that the above mentioned quote is in there, but that Cal is just not interested. He isn't even positive that she IS mentioned in his file, and to what extent she is if so.
Talk about a communications error. :guffaw: What do y'all think?
