Episode 7x22 - 'Dead on Arrival' ***CONTAINS SPOILERS***

Love the episode for all the reason your guys gave...

Also, Loved the fact that Tripp knew something was "hinky" and alerted H to that. Should have been H and Tripp at the end, but minor nitpick tbh.

David Caruso did what he does best. Found a character and somehow you knew she wasn't a bad person by his attitude to her. At the end, his ability to empathise and show real emotion without much in the way of dialogue is classic Caruso - good to see and well needed...!

10/10

Opposed to most reactions up here, I'm not very fond of Kyle, actually. I still think it's weird, seeing him in the morgue and actually doing real things, not just moving bodies or something. He has no degree in (forensic) medicine whatsoever, yet he can run a sex kit and do nail scrapings on a victim. Somehow I woud think that's not very professional?

The rest of the episode cracked me up though, Calleighs quote on comforting the men in jail... gotta love tha lady:)

Yea! Someone else who thinks like me!! But I think we are in the minority here. :p It drives me crazy how TV portrays people doing jobs they are not qualified for. Did Kyle even graduate from High School or did he get his GED in jail? The least they could do is tell us that he is taking night classes somewhere. But at least he's a little less annoying now.

Nat on the other hand is starting to grow on me. I've never liked her character (didn't like her on AMC either) but for some reason she wasn't too bad on this episode.

I did like this episode though. I liked how Eric felt 'out of the loop' because he doesn't watch the show. I don't watch The Bachelor either and it's nice to see that someone else (even if he is a fictional character) doesn't either. :)

I loved this episode, it was so funny

Loved Natalia reaction when she realized it was the show she watches

Emily in the interrogation room "Mr Martin...Martini....Mr Martin" :guffaw:and the look on the guys face when she said there are guys in jail who also need comforting and reassuring...hilarious :guffaw:

Loved the Ryan and Valera scene, poor Valera I doubt she'll be smelling old books anymore

LOVED the E/C scene *sighs* :adore: Thanks Cory! :D

I thought the ending with H and that girl was sweet :)

I dont like Tara :shifty:

Great episode!!!!

Natalia was fun in this episode. It's a good thing she did watch the show, it helped in solving the case. I loved her scene with Travers. He's definately a keeper on this show!

Calleigh was a blast to watch in this episode. She had me laughing throughout. I loved the way she shut Mr. Martin, I mean Mr. Martini up when she mentioned reassurance and comforting in jail

LOL at Ryan and Valera's scene

Eric and Calleigh's scene, so cute!

Tara, I didn't like the looks she was giving Kyle. I hope he tells Horatio what he saw. I am sure he wouldn't appreciate the fact Tara blamed his mom for something she did.

I was disappointed that CTV showed no promo for next week :(

I couldn't STAND Kyle at first, but his character really grew on me. Could be that I needed an extra character for my fanfiction and used him. :) But I really liked his part in this episode. I was glad how he stood up to her.

I really don't think Tara will ever grow on me. Now that we know she's actually TAKING the pills, that doesn't help. And her little attitude she gave Kyle made me mad. She's a DOCTOR for crying out loud!

^ I can tolerate Kyle, but I have a problem with his accelerated learning of procedures. He really shouldn't being doing much more than cleaning.

I'm really still interested to see how this whole pill thing will turn out with Tara ,rehab, fired?

I have the same problem with Kyle. He is starting to grow on me but him doing the sex kit really bugged me. I don't know much about the procedure but wouldn't he need some kind of training or be quialified in some way to be able to do this?

I don't think he got his GED in jail cause in Bombshell we saw Horatio going to his school to talk to him. So he did go back to high school after he got out. The question is did he finish it? Maybe he took some advanced courses and finished in december or goes to night classes, like some have mentioned.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, someone with a position like his would NOT be doing a sex kit on a body. Or whatever other thing she told him to do. That was pretty ridiculous.

Maybe the point wasn't that Kyle was doing something he's not qualified to do. Maybe the point was that Tara is so addicted to pills that she's telling people to do jobs they aren't qualified for. ;)

That's a good point. But the thing is that he didn't seem shocked or confused by the request. Like it was the most natural thing. If maybe he would've been a little bit more surprised we would've known this was a new thing to him.

I at first thought she asked him to do it, but she told him to run it upstairs to the lab with something else, so it sounded to me like he didn't actually do it.

Any tolerance I had for Tara disappeared after she snapped at Kyle. Glad he confronted her though.

Addiction is a disease,so Tara needs help.In real life ,she should be fired becouse she is compromising cases if her behaviour gets out of hand, but her snapping at Kyle is nothing personal .She would probably be equally sensitive with anyone in case of being confronted until she accepts that she in an addict.Had Ryan gambling addiction been explored in detail ,we would have seen more of that.
