Episode 7x07 - 'Cheating Death' ***CONTAINS SPOILERS***

I like this epi well enough;agree with the twists and turns that I didn't think the blond adulterer stabbed the guy like that-crime of passion? What caught my attention was the way Horatio asked his questions to the killer-his look on his face was like he was trying to figure out why a regular housewife could do all this extra-curricular activity and wind up in a hotel stabbing some ONS instead of being happy at home? Like he kept trying to think "why wasn't she happy with what she had?" cause I'm sure he would have been to come home to some loving wife instead of alone like he does. Or maybe he was trying to figure out how mental some of these women are-compared to what he's facing with Julia in his life at all-she's quite off balanced.
Loved the prank but thought it funny that the boys didn't think it through that they had messed with the body and almost compromised an important aspect of the case-Horatio seems impressed with Tara's intellect so she'll probably be sticking around I'd say.

I think he may have been thinking of both his dead wife and Julia, comparing and contrasting. H is just a good ol' boy at heart and would like a traditional little wifey waiting at home for him.

I, too, was surprised. I doubt any real CSI's would do something like that with the corpse from an active murder case. And, yes, H does seem impressed with Tara. Actually, what surprises me more, is that I'm impressed with Tara. Didn't like ME (wow, she's even got the right initials for the job) in the 4400, but that was probably just the unsympathetic character.

I had to laugh at Lucy Lawless' character. I know I've moved beyond Xena when my first reaction was to expect her to be just like D'anna (her character in Battlestar Galactica) - and she really was; I didn't trust her, just like I don't trust cylon D'anna. And the character proved to be deceptive. It's interesting that LL's accent kept coming through every once in a while (they don't ask her to disguise it in BSG).
 
I have a burning question... who dresses Eric? I mean his outfit was like :wtf:. He looked like he was in surgical scrubs for a pediatric unit, plus brown jacket.

It was an ok episode for me.

The part I loved best was the prank. I love seeing Eric and Ryan work a case together, and I'm glad they did. And the prank just added icing to the cake :) Tara should've lightened up.

Ryan and the severed head... did it actually happen? Cal mentioned that was the prank they played on him but I can't seem to remember that scene in season 3?

Ryan sending flowers, that's just like him. He doens't want to get in trouble. I was hoping to see Tara get back at Eric. Next week maybe?

The prank they played on Ryan was on the episode Speed Kills, season 3. Calleigh was the mastermind and Eric caught on and played along. It's one of my favorite funny moments :) It was nice to have that mentioned in this episode having continuity and relevance :)

Oh my God. I loved that prank Cal and Eric played on Ryan. His face was priceless.
 
I was looking foward to watchin this episode and after i saw it...i wasnt dissapointed!!! i actually really liked it!!:thumbsup:

Loved the prank, so funny!!! i wish Tara would have taken it better although i understand her point but i know for a fact that if the prank was on Alexx she would have laughed. Wish they would have shown Tara gettin her own back though :lol:. Loved that the boys did it together, they were so cute!! And i thought Calleigh was sweet checking on her like that :) although she was trying not to laugh :lol:.

Eric looked gorgeous!! although i didnt really like the jacket it was kinda gross :lol:. The scene with E & C was so cute, loved the way they looked at eachother and it seemed to me like she was hinting that she liked flowers and gave him a flirty look :lol:. And the scene with the edible undies was so funny!!! :guffaw: they way she put them down quick when Eric walked in :guffaw:her look was priceless!

The music in this eppie was weird!! its not the usual music we hear, didnt like it.

All in all, loved the eppie, it had humor which i think it was time we had some, dont you? Looking foward to next weeks eppie, thats the one where we see them before they get called in isnt it? cant wait to see it, im so excited!!:):thumbsup:
