Episode #615, & 616: Ambush, All In **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

OK, in rewatching the episode, there were a couple of things that confused me ... If Calleigh wrote that they were going to Club Descent at 6 p.m., why did they wind up at the warehouse? Did Horatio call the warehouse owner and tell him to contact Seth? Or was Club Descent right by the warehouse, or part of it? I was a little confused by all that.

Also - what ever happened to that "reflective trace" Delko found at the crime scene in the beginning? From what I understood, Ryan found the chloroform on Calleigh's ID, so what happened w/the trace?

And did Ron just walk on the Newberry murder? That got dropped like a hot potato. I guess a shoelace really isn't enough to nail a guy, but it seemed very unresolved - I hope TPTB come back to it. Also, didn't Kathryn Newberry have a son? What happened to him? Why wasn't he w/his mom (since his dad's in jail) - just seemed very weird to me.

This whole Julia thing - I don't know if TPTB are trying to make her out to be a pawn or "victim," but didn't she ask that guy to kill her husband in "Raising Caine?" I just don't think that should be overlooked, but it seems like it is.

kerafaith - nice catch w/the "Tinderbox" thing - I hadn't remembered that. I doubt TPTB did either  but that would've been kind of cool to reference that.

Anyway, just a couple of confusing moments for me...

If I remember right, they went to the warehouse first after the black guy turned himself in & gave H the address. Then later is when he found the clue Calleigh left..Club Descent 6pm.

The reflective trace I can't recall, but Ron walked away after slamming his face onto the table making a bruise, & said something to the effect that they wouldn't believe H over him beings that H had murder charges from Rio.
All confusion yeah. I suppose thats what happens when an episode is written in 2 days & shot in 6.

Let me see if I understood something cause I rewatched it too;)

- It looks like the "Club Decent" was right by the warehouse...Horatio knew about the appointment only afte he completed the chemical reaction Calleigh left (the one grape jusice and baking soda ;) ). Probably it also became a warehous itself after what happened in "Tindebox"

- as fo the reflective traces....Ryan analised everything especially these "reflective traces". They showed her ID, in my opinion, mostly for the contrast the pic on it could create with the situation in which Calleigh was;).
It was a smily pic with a cool music in a tragic moment....and let's say I loved this contrast

-Kathryn Newberry's son....if I'm not mistaken they got him in "Dangerous son" but I don't remember how:confused:

Thanks for some clafication mjszud and florry!

I was wondering why Club Descent was written by Cal, and then they wound up at the warehouse - I guess the warehouse and Club Descent were one in the same  - if so, that gives a whole new meaning to H's "I do" when Nat asked if he knew where it was. (ie: It was the old club that burnt down in "Tinder Box" - so cool if that's the case :) )

You're probably right about the ID - focusing on that gives it much more resonance.

As for the Newberrys' son - I remember seeing him in "Dangerous Son," and I guess the police took him then. But why on earth wouldn't the mother get custody back? That poor kid - both his parents are gone! In 15 years he'll probably come back to take revenge on H like every other villain on the show!

I liked the "All In" episode way better than "Ambush" and am glad that I taped them and watched them the same night, so that there was no lag between. I have found this to be way better than waiting between.

Anyway I liked the storylines and like how Calleigh stayed "cool" and used her head which to me would be her character....although someday I would really like to see someone freak out (not really) but it could be funny.

As for H, well what do you expect...this is the world of CSI Miami and only here can a guy take out 8 men and not get a scratch. It would have been nice if he would have at least hid behind a tree. But I suppose they needed him back to save Calleigh because apparently no one else is capable without the H Man.

I think that the jackass was meeting someone at Club Descent after he robbed the guys at the poker game.

Ok I dont really watch Miami but after I saw people posting about the difference between H's 'action scene' in MIA616 and Mac's 'action scene' in NY415 I thought i'd check it out. Anyway....H's scene at the begining just made me laugh how he's never hurt and then he touches/processes evidence further on- I was stunned

I loved the actual plot of the episode but the ending, where they are sitting around the poker table, was definatly my fave!! It reminded me of a british series calld 'Hustle' but you probably won't know it  And what can I say about Eric and Calleigh's final scene......:D
