"Payback" -- When new technology helps find the true rapist in a cold case, the CSIs investigate when he is murdered before he is brought to trial, on CSI: MIAMI, Monday, Dec. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Sam Hill directed the episode written by Marc Dube from a story by Marc Dube, Ildy Modrovich and Marc Guggenheim.

Natalia's mission to solve cold cases is a success when a man imprisoned for rape is set free six years later. However, when the CSIs reexamine the evidence, find the true culprit and go to arrest him, they find that someone else has already taken justice into their own hands and killed him. Meanwhile, Alexx discovers that a corpse in her morgue may have died due to surgeon error on the operating table.

Seems like Natalia will have a major role in this one (at least major than the 2 secs fhe gets on every ep, besides it will finally start to justify *crossing fingers* why they bring her in, I mean the whole old cases thing)

So now they're doing cold cases? Not looking forward to a Very Special Natalia episode at all. I don't care about her, I don't get the point of her and forcing an episode around her isn't gonna make me like her.

Give me Alexx, Frank and Calleigh, Delko, Ryan-centric eps instead becuase they're the characters I care about and want to see more of and know more about and see how their jobs affect them. Alexx, Frank and Calleigh are getting shafted big time this season in story and development.

Gah, sad to say but for the first time in years I think I may skip an episode.

sounds like it will be a alex heavy ep! i'm psyched cuz most of the season she's been sidelined.

Well s2 they had complications but from what i've read before this one is supposed to be where a surgeon leave sponges or something inside the patient.

i just watched the preview on cbs for this ep, and i'm not so confident that i will like it anymore. afterall, this ep is supposed to give natalia a purpose finally, but in the preview she is only mentioned because of the evening she spent with eric? i was hoping she would get some PROFESSIAL purpose so i could start liking her and stop hating the writers.

i must keep optimistic, maybe the preview was misleading.

Please tell me the writers haven't decided to put a love interest story between Eric and Natalia - I don't think I could stomach that.

the preview for payback is now available on cbs.com

i watched it twice and there is no way it can mean anything other than natalia and eric hooking up.

i am not looking forward to this ep! i don't want to see boa hook up with anyone! give the characters we already have a storyline.

Woohoo! THe two chracters that I'm disliking, Mr. Nipples and Snake Lady are the mysterious couple. Now I can dislike 'em together :D

and oh! Michael Shanks plays Dr. Daniel Jackson in Stargåte: SG-1
