"Ending Happy" Discussion *Spoilers*

Doc and Brass ep! That would be great. Put Warrick in it too, cause he needs more screentime, and of course Hodges for some extra snark. Perfect!

The best part of this episode for me were the Greg scenes. I loved what the girl said before he swabbed her mouth for DNA. He must have turned all kinds of red.

I also enjoyed his scene with Hodges. Sometimes they get along and sometimes not. This time they seemed to and I enjoyed the look on Greg's face when Hodges was ranting about his experience with a hooker.
Gotta agree with Toots there. :) And to think a few aseasons ago, Greg might've been saying something similar to what Hodges has said. Greg's growing up. ^_^ And Hodges is... well I'll just say that I'm learning a little too much about this lab tech.

Overall I thought this episode was good. I think I vaguely remember a similar plotline to this in another CSI episode... And Doc Robbins foiling Brass everytime he was about to get a confession? Priceless.

Brass and Doc Robbins absolutely rocked this episode.

The "You make me happy" line...I don't know. It felt awkward to me. Maybe that's in keeping with the characters involved, but it just felt a little "off".

The sort of cheesy, old monster movie look/music during that last Happy scene was a hoot! I want to know if they put just a little "stop-motion" effect in there to enhance that.

Greg's observation that the trace found at the scene made "the whole brothel thing" lose it's allure...that was hilarious! As little as he and Warrick were there, they made the best of their scenes!

Overall it was odd to follow one "outside the box", light episode with another, I think it might have thrown people. The next one looks a little out-there as well, so...I guess keep your seatbelts fastened for now, until we hit the deep angst waters...

 oh yes korbjaeger i´ll agree with you. Brass and the Doc have so funny role in it, i must so laughing over these ethernal is this the murder or not

also the dead body (the Boxer) sorry i´m not laughing over dead body´s but this looks so funny, his face and the situation at the end, oh men, when i´ve get a role in this part.. i must not thinking about that. Please don´t think bad of me, that´s only for the epi ;)

oh and what i´ve seen, Nicky looks alike he has an allergy? some of the pics i´ve seen later, he has much red skin? hope with him is all ok? is it only my meaning or see it some of you also? nice to give me answer :)

After Leapin Lizards this week, that will most likely be three comedic episodes in a row, getting us ready for the last two which will hopefully be intense. I think the writers set it up this way for a reason, they didn't want to have some serious cases like an Empty Eyes something of that nature, it might water it down a bit. I really hope the final two are in your case crazy intense.

I just thought I would point out, Sara never had to try to get Grissom to like her. He always did, he just never acted on it...till now.

I always thought Grissom was running away from her, and she was always trying to get his attention...he always looked so scared of her, lol. Its interesting how Grissom and Catherine had plenty of screen time last season, but their friendship has been destroyed to further the GSR storyline. Thanks tptb!

People who are saying ethically this is no big deal, re-watch 'The Accused is Entitled'

Sorry to bring it back to the debate..
but i totally agree with you. i miss the grissom and catherine friendship that we never get to see anymore. :(

I liked the episode. it was funny, and it defiantly kept me guessing.

okay, i am rewatching this ep for the third time at this moment and something caught my eye. how the hell this arrow was supposed to go through and through Happy's neck leaving this kind of marks if there were wings or whatever you call them in the end of it?

is there anybody here who haunts that could tell me if those wings are soft enough to just slide and not leave any marks other than the obvious two punctures or is there actually an error in the plotline?

I don't think the arrow went right through Happy's neck.. It kind of slided, ripping a bit of his flesh (Also giving him airway, I think).. Could be wrong though.

well, you remember there were two puncture wounds to the neck and they first thought it was a GSW. then Doc slided the stick into it and it came through and through, but he said it didn't look like bullet wounds. wouldn't those wings leave significant marks and change the shape of the wound then? that's my burning question.

^^ they did, they had yellow and red ones I think. I was wondering about that too Adz...

OK...I thought the same thing, and a small comparison...when I play darts I know that the flights(wings) are very flexible...yet I would think when the cross bow went through the neck it would have left some sort of mark.

well i don't know how you call them but i meant those little yellow-red shits in the end, lol.

ETA:

here are the wounds. the left one (from the vic's perspective) has those tiny marks but the right doesn't have them at all. besides, shouldn't they be more significant on the right one anyway?

and one more thing. i would've bought it if they told me that the exit wound doesn't have to have those marks but he was shot from the right. so it's the right wound that should have had the marks, not left.

oh hell, who cares? lol

I believe those kind of "wings" bend, no? If they are going full force, hard, by the time they hit the skin they are bound to curl inward (Haha, I know very selective words there) and therefore leaving small, round puncture wounds? But I am no expert, so says the experts

yeah, that's exactly why i'm curious about it. maybe there is an expert around here that knows ;)
