Thanks MrsG. I know I'll probably end up babysitting a bunch of teenagers but it'll be a chance for me to indulge my maternal instincts. And I'm really not comfortable with the smut, no matter what the pairing, so for me it will be a good fit.

I love the D/F smut. Smut, smut and more smut. :lol: I read it and write it and it makes me a happy bunny. ;)

As for the non-smutty stuff, BC has that too, although it's usually not as popular to talk about. ;) Maybe it's just me and the other D/F shippers on there (and here on Talk ;)), but smut and slash seem to go hand in hand--but then again, I expect that most ships are the same way. ;)

I hope the Eddie board works out for you, but I'm not sure how consistent I'd be. Two weeks of nothing in two Eddie threads on here and probably about the same on BC? Eh, I think a few threads can keep me busy. :eek:

Anyway, back to Eddie (I haven't been in this thread in so long). I still have not watched that episode of SVU he was in, even though I have it on tape. It's on the shelf right next to "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" with Carmine's ass-shot and song scene, and I haven't watched either one. I need to make time to do that.

"Miracle" is a great movie. It's not the kind of thing I'm usually into, but if it's on I'll get sucked into it. :lol: And it doesn't hurt that Eddie was a cutie pie in it. ;)

Since we're in the drool thread, let me dig out a few pictures. :D

I figure, nothing ventured nothing gained. I just want to try to create a forum where younger fans can go and not be exposed to the smut. I wouldn't expect you or any of the D/Fers to visit my forum at all because it would be too tame. I'm basically going to ban all smut from the forum. You have Brokeback Crimelab, I'll have Fluff Central! I'm planning on a name like "Blue-Eyed Angel". Haven't decided for sure yet. Anyway, the forum that I have in mind may or may not be successful but I feel it's worth a try. Like I said, I'll probably end up babysitting a bunch of teenagers, but that's ok.

Fay, I love that first picture of Eddie. Long hair AND stubble and I must not forget those beautiful blue eyes. Not only is Eddie a cutie in Miracle it is also a great story. I was never a big hockey fan but the hockey scenes were really good. I'd definately watch it again.

As for the SVU episode. I've seen it once. Eddie was a cutie in it too. Poor baby, had no idea what was going on.

Thanks MrsG for pimping the BC board. ;) I'll be heading over there later. I have to agree, a clean Eddie board, nope you won't find me there either. BTW, Fay, get to watching that video.

Good luck with the Eddie board. Just watch those teenagers..they can sometimes be naughtier than adults. :p

Well, I might have stopped by anyway because, despite what is apparently general opinion, D/F fans are capable of 'tame' conversation. However, I'm an adult, so perhaps I should stay out of the kiddie pool. Fluff is fun, but I like some of both.

I got these two pictures from "Silent Night" from csi-caps.com today and thought I may as well post them. ;) Gotta love the facial expressions, especially in the second one.

I'm an adult too; I'm just an adult that doesn't enjoy smut and pornography. I'm sorry I brought the whole thing up. Again I guess I have managed to offend someone since I see I have a private message. I probably won't read it tonight since I am just beginning to feel better these days; back on the meds, got a job, feeling like life is looking better. I want to keep that going. I apologize, again, to anyone who I have offended.

If you don't enjoy smut and pornography, don't read or look at smut and pornography. This thread doesn't go over the PG-13 line, so throwing out the ultimatum of no smut is kind of strange. I don't think that it's necessarily true to say that smut = porn, or that acknowledging sex or talking about it is automatically offensive, but that's a completely different discussion and off topic in this thread. I think that people can have 'tame' conversation even if they like to talk about 'smut'--the two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, I distinctly recall being part of a number of great discussions about Flack (and Eddie's other roles) both here and on BC, even though there was no smut involved. Shocking, perhaps, but there you go.

However, it might behoove you to stop talking about this forum you're going to set up as a place where you will probably end up 'babysitting teenagers' since I doubt teenagers reading this thread will be inclined to appreciate that and might not want to take part. Plus, to echo something that 1CSIMfan said earlier, teenagers are often interested in smut as well.

In any case, we're talking about a hypothetical message board while we're on one that already exists.
