Danny reminds me of my boyfriend... Kinda sweet, kinda unpredictable. That's what I like about him. He's in Switzerland for holiday and I'm stuck at home for term break. I swear, I'll never let him go... and NEITHER SHOULD LINDS!!

I still cannot get over that either. She must have the best self control I've ever seen.

First standing him up for dinner. Just the thought alone of looking into those gorgeous eyes across the table for a whole evening *sigh* already makes my knees weak.

And then when he tells her that there is "something" between them she walks away again, where every girl in her right mind would've been all over him :devil:.

You don't think she has some real nasty STD , 'cause that's about the most plausible reason I can think of why any girl would keep her distance.

But that's most likely not the reason the writers came up with. I do hope they will really suprise us.

Lol, I agree seeker but I don't think Linds is walking away from him...she CLEARLY wants to be with him, but she is taking some time to work out her past so her present and future can be that much better and more healthy, and really I think that is totally wise of her! It kinda sucks for Danny cuz he has to wait, but he knows this is a good idea and I think it's clear to him that she wants him and will be with him soon...and really I think she's gonna realize that working thru these problems on her own sucks and she'll want his support and help with this stuff! I totally see that happening! Not in a weak way, but in a I need a shoulder to cry on, I'm being strong but can you still help way kind of way! And I for one would LOVE to see that!! Danny comforting her, yeah totally would LOVE that!!

definitely!!! I'm not really picky, if it's a big D/L moment--I'm not complaining...but just a few stares and cute teasing between the two would be great also--i wouldn't want it to be just D/L all the way (then it would be grey's anatomy instead of CSI:NY!!!) but i would want CSI:NY to remain it's dark angsty self with the cases as the main course and D/L as the delicious dessert that come's right after...

In my experience, working out issues on your own (especially those big, hurtful ones you thought you worked out) really doesn't end so well. Lindsay is the type of girl who thinks she can handle everything on her own, and if she can't, she won't let anyone else know because she thinks she has to be strong. I think that's why she turned down Danny in "Love Run Cold."

While she thought she had got over whatever happened in her past, Lindsay discovered that she really hasn't. She needs to take some time for herself to try and work it out, but as I think many of us here can agree, she'll need someone's help. (Probably Danny's, because he did say that if Lindsay needed anything, he'd be there.)

Also, they're both pretty. Pretty people making dark angst is A+ work by me, kthnx.

Agreed. In their scenes together, I can still feel the attraction between them in their scenes together. Their tension is so thick, I can cut it with a knife. And it seems like Lindsay is fighting her feelings and to kiss him senseless. Although, if she doesn't do it soon... I might have to step in. :devil:

You know what I love?

We get to see the stronger side of Danny this year. I remember seeing season 1 and thinking "he's like a big child', a gorgeous man after all. I honestly thought that the writers were going to keep him at that level for along time.

And then Lindsay came into the picture. At "Zoo York" I thought , "Uh, oh" there's the old danny, the flirtatious danny that we loved teasing the new girl.

And it was at "Risk" where everything changed. He still called her Montana, but she didn't mind it at all. She never corrected him on it. His tone changed towards her and he smiled a bit more, there was a softness in his eyes, and the messer twinkle that existed in his eyes came back to life. Life couldn't get any better than that.

Season 3 Danny is the one that I love the most. Even though I love the season 2 danny, the concerned Danny is the one that makes it all worth while. He is so concerned about Lindsay, he does not even notice the world around him. Season 1 Danny would not be turning down a Suicide Girl, but Season 3 Danny would .

It's amazing how a little woman from Montana can change a man's heart.

^Great comments...but for some reason I just don't even see season one Danny going out with Nixon. He might have been curious, might have even eventually slept with her, but I don't see him being into her. I mean Danny seems to be critical of people that just don't make sense to him...he might have went out with her...but she probably would have freaked him out. LOL! Uh, meh...sometimes Danny reminds me of my brother...which I don't want to see that happen. Don't wanna see my brother in Danny...ick. But he's definitely into Linds...and she is into him. She's not walking away, she's taking a breather. Can you imagine if she brought all of her troubles into the relationship, how emotional Danny would get? Watch out, he might start crying again.


I have to agree that both, Danny and Lindsay, will have to face some tought issues. Linds needs to face them right now...she didn't before and it's coming back to haunt her. It's also affecting her relationship with Danny. So the 'sooner strong and confident Lindsay' returns the better. But I understand that she needs to work through some stuff first.


Their Pets:

Danny- that puppy dog that looked just like him or maybe a parrot. But somehow (with his comment about his neighbors not even knowing who he was after three years of living there-in season one) I can't see Danny having a pet. He might not be there enough...I can see Danny coming home to a dead bird or something.

Lindsay---She might have a cat or horse back in Montana. But again, I can't see her having a pet either. She seems like someone that wouldn't want to have a pet unless she was able to be there for it whenever it needed her----oh, wait maybe that's me...hmmmm.

Pets together---a Kinkajou of course....we'll and a walrus just for sentimental reasons. So romantic...who's the other walrus? :devil:

I adored Season 1 Danny... but then when by each season, he gets sweeter and more lovable (and hotter...) I'm so glad that Lindsay made him show his vulnerable, his sweet and his caring side. I'm loving the romantic Danny! Now, all things would be good if he was into me too.

3. Love Run Cold- Yes. Angsty though. BUT ALOT OF DL.

5. Oedipus Hex - ALOT OF D/L bantering. Very cute and so funny. Lindsay's "classy" comment and Danny's "Is that your natural hair color?" cracked me up.
6. Open and shut - One look maybe. But that's it.
