I like it. I think I'm going to sit here and drool for awhile.......I think the thing I love best is the expression in their eyes. Although, that cute blush on Flack's cheeks is nice, too.

Awwwww. You brought up an interesting point there: Does Danny ever wonder why Flack stares at him so much and what Flack's thinking when he does it? I know if somebody like Flack stared at me as much he does at Danny, I'd be wondering a lot about it. :lol: Even more so because Flack doesn't do it to anyone else except Danny!

Oh yeah, I bet Danny wonders why Flack stares. He probably likes it though, that's why he doesn't question him about it.

I think Danny probably does wonder if he isn't quite certain of Flack's feelings. Danny's insecure, I bet he wonders, "What does he see in me?" But then, a blind man could see how much Flack loves Danny from the way Flack looks at him. Danny can't miss it completely. He has to know on some level Flack's feelings for him run pretty deep.

I love this cap because I think it's so indicative of how Danny feels about Flack. He's totally looking at Flack with complete and utter trust. And there's knowledge in those eyes--I think he knows Flack wants and loves him. He's still going to make Flack work for it, but Danny looks like he feels happy and safe in that cap.

In episode four of season five, there will be at least two scenes where Danny and Flack are together. In one scene, Flack will be escorting Danny and Mac to a crime scene and the dead body in it. I didn't deliberately choose the word escorting. It was really used in the spoiler source. Oh, Flack, you so cute, escorting your Danny like the gentleman you are.

Oh, Flack definitely does like to use those eyes to study his Danny! By "really isn't subtle" I meant that Flack makes no effort to hide his love--he stares at Danny openly and happily, with intent! After all, Danny is so emotional--Flack needs Danny to know that he's head over heels in love. Hence, the staring and the chivalry.

Awwww, I love all the staring! Flack is so obviously in love. It's cute how Danny just seems oblivious, or even shy. The way their bodies are angled towards each other in that last pic, it looks like Flack is about to seize Danny and kiss him.

Flack really does always take care of his kitty. When he lifted that crime scene tape for Danny, I went, "AWWWWWW!" How cute is that? Flack takes such good care of Danny, and really is so chivalrous to him. Flack treats Danny better than most guys treat their girlfriends. Must be because Danny is such a little diva. :lol:

And I bet Flack likes to settle all his disputes with Danny in the bed. :devil:

I love the way Flack gazes at Danny with such love in his eyes! The man is so adoring. It's just so sweet how obvious it is to the whole world just what Danny means to Flack.

It's interesting how serious Flack is normally, but when Danny's around he just lights up. He really has a different smile for Danny; it's much more tender than his usual snarky grin.

If there's one thing that's constant about Danny and Flack together in a scene, when things get dramatic for Danny and Flack's there, Danny's eyes are always big and imploring whenever he gazes at Flack.

Just look at the above screencap! He's just found out his brother Louie's been beaten close to death, he's near the end of his ropes, he tells Mac and Lindsay he's 'okay' and yet ... the instant he glances at Flack, you can see his real feelings. It's like it's only with Flack that he feels safe enough to reveal what's going on within him, even if it's just briefly.

As for Flack ...

He's got the big puppy dog eyes thing going on too whenever he's around Danny, regardless of the situation. Interesting his face only softens this way with Danny, no?

Flack: We ain't goin' anywhere ...

I love how Danny looks so trustingly at Flack. It's so adorable how he knows Flack is going to take care of him. I imagine he's not unaware of the effect that wide-eyed look has on Flack. It's almost a primal, "Protect me, take care of me" kind of look, and Flack reacts equally primally to it. Flack clearly likes protecting his Danny.

Just look at the above screencap! He's just found out his brother Louie's been beaten close to death, he's near the end of his ropes, he tells Mac and Lindsay he's 'okay' and yet ... the instant he glances at Flack, you can see his real feelings. It's like it's only with Flack that he feels safe enough to reveal what's going on within him, even if it's just briefly.

Yeah, it was interesting in that scene because he didn't look at Lindsay at all, and I think he addressed Mac for a bit, but when he looked at Flack with that long, sad look. Danny doesn't hide what he's feeling well, but he never even tries to mask his emotions with Flack.

As for Flack ...

Very interesting, and sweet and telling. Flack's a tough guy, and though he's often sarcastic and cracking jokes, he's pretty serious on the job. It really is only with Danny that he lets his guard down--he smiles softly at Danny, he's protective and concerned, he's chivalrous and aware of Danny's feelings. That's love.

I love that sequence, and the way the guys are looking at each other. Flack is addressing/answering Mac, but he's really talking to Danny. And Danny looks back and acknowledges what Flack's saying. Even more so, he submits to it. Flack really is the only one who can rein Danny in like that. That was a pretty big moment between the two.

You could tell Flack really hurt for Danny in that scene. He wasn't just concerned about Danny doing something stupid and wanting to prevent that--or even to prevent someone from hurting Danny. Flack saw how gutted Danny was by what happened to Louie, and he was upset to see Danny so hurt and broken. That's true love.

I can totally see Flack holding Danny in bed that night. It would be very chaste--a rare chaste evening between the boys. :devil: I can totally see Flack just holding Danny all night as he cried, staying awake until Danny finally cried himself to sleep. Even then, I can see Flack laying awake, watching Danny sleep and wondering how he's going to make things better for Danny.

I think "On the Job" showed that Flack is definitely in love with Danny, but "Run Silent, Run Deep" really showed just how much. The look in Flack's eyes when he gazed at Danny and said, "We're not going anywhere. Trust me" gave me chills.

He just did it because he's that darn happy to see Danny again.

And yes, Danny waved back and couldn't wait to get out of the car to be with Flack!

Here's what I love most about Flack's soft, happy smiles around Danny: he never shows them because he wants Danny's attention, he smiles regardless of whether Danny knows or not because he's really, really that happy to be around Danny. That's it. No ulterior motives, no expectations. Just happyhappy joyjoy for being around Danny and knowing Danny's a part of his life and they're best buds.

Awwww. Yes, Don the Great Dog is always protective of his beloved kitty. I can certainly see Flack embracing Danny on the bed, being there for Danny in whatever way he can and letting Danny vent or cry without taking any lashing out personally. What a sweet act of love that is.

What an awesome guy Flack is, looking out for Danny so much without expecting any reward or payment for it, always glad just to see Danny happy/in no pain. Indeed, that's true love.

And the good news is, it's mutual! Danny doesn't like it at all either to see Flack perturbed or hurting in any way and given the opportunity, he does his best to comfort Flack.

It is kind of sweet how Danny does submit to Flack's will a lot of the time. He'll be slightly defiant at times--like not answering his cell when Flack called--but for the most part, when Flack puts his foot down, Danny obeys. I think he knows not only that Flack has his best interests at heart, but that Flack knows what's right and what's not. Danny might be a difficult little thing, but I think he's aware of the fact that he's a difficult little thing. :lol:

Such a sweet scene. I love Flack's reactions when Danny told Shane Casey about Louie. Flack kind of cast a look back at Casey like, "I swear to god, if this guy tries anything, I will kill him." Flack is always protective of Danny, never more so than when Danny is vulnerable and hurting.

Yeah, 413 is another great example. Flack went above and beyond, even for a friend, for Danny in that episode. Most guys would have thrown up their hands and said, "Screw it" when Danny didn't answer the phone the second time after they split the list. Not Flack. The man continued to spend his day off chasing his baby all over Manhattan.

Ooooo that'd be entertaining! I'd love to see a situation like that play out on the show. Let's have Danny get hurt and Don be the first one to intervene. Obviously he's got the training to handle a situation like that with some grace and efficiency, and we don't get to see Don saving a lot of lives, so that would be good in itself, but to get the chance to do something like that for Danny. That would be the scene of the season to me.
