Dancing With The Stars

An estmated 19.2 million people watched DONNY OSMOND win "Dancing With The Stars"-the smallest audience for the show's finale since the 1st season. This was the 9th edition of the contest, one of television's most popular shows. The Nielsen Co. says ratings have been down all season for the show:confused:,[they were up in the top 5:confused:] and indication that viewers weren't as attached to the contentants as they had in the past [wow, and I thought it was the best season ever, and the best contestants ever] Osmond said the show has been a highlight in a career of ups and dows. he completed during the show's finale, Tuesday against singer MYA and KELLY OSBOURNE daughter of rock legend OZZY OSBOURNE~

The ratings here are definitely down. And by a few million. Part of it is due to the fact that this bunch just arent as interesting as previous years, but mainly because of poor scheduling. It is up against the X-factor, which has really upped its game this year.
Plus there was controversy on Strictly when an older, well liked Judge was replaced by a younger model.

Interesting list, but Kate Goslin, how will she do this, and take care of 8 kids:eek: I watch AMC, and don't know who this Aiden celeb is:confused: and Pamela Anderson, won't her top weigh her down? We'll see about who's go it and who doesn't:rolleyes:
 
Desertwind, do you watch All My Children or do you quit watch it? Aiden Turner played Aidan Devane on All My Children. He left the show. I have to agree with you about Pamela Anderson, her chest will hang out of her dress.
 
Pretty sure Kate can afford a nanny, besides the show will be getting publicity so they and ex hubby will probably handle that.

I think you meant Aiden Turner on AMC he played Aiden Devane when I caught the show and he came on he was like the good guy type, then they like all the other characters just tore him down, from what I understood.

As to Pam Anderson, lets not be harsh, she isn't shy that is true, but still she is a real person and if she is proud of her body good for her. ;)
 
Of course Aiden the Englsh bloke, He's great and will be good, I bet:thumbsup: And I like Pamela, she's very bright, actually I've seen her on talk shows, it's just that well, I won't say anything. I realize Kate got nannies but how can you be a good mom, when your never really there:( This seems to be on after "AI" is over:cool:

How does any mother that appears on the show do that plus practices, and still be a good mother? No different then an actress who is a mom who goes away for days or weeks or even months to do a movie, tour for singing, or do a regular tv show.
 
Kate got somebody to watch her children, she got a brother and sisther-in laws and a friends around her to help her out.

Pamela is very smart. Some people think she think she is dumb blonde, but she isn't dumb and she is a not blonde. She was born as a burnette.

This is true to some extent, but then there's Angelina and Brad, who take their kids everywhere, It just showed them on her new movie set, the kids, and when they were down in New Orleans, helping out the Katrina victims the kids where with them. And Julie Roberts also takes her kids on the set. I remember when Marie Osmond was on this show, and I was wonderding [she also has 8 kids] who's taking care of the kids:confused: Being there for breakfast, after school, doing homework etc. and BTW Marie's son just commited suicide, no comparing just commenting. I just think that if someone has that many kids, and chooses to leave to go on a dancing show for the $$$, then maybe she shouldn't have had so many children. And she's not a celebrity, she was a realty whatever, who subjected her kids to this environment, and gets divorced, I guess people who are parents have different ideas and different values. I've got 4 children, and would have never left them to do a show that took me away from them for long periods of time. Different strokes:rolleyes:
 
Like you said different people do different things, some also take their kids to show off as well, notice alot get upset if to much focus is on the kid, then stick them in front of a camera (or rather flash them to it), not saying these actresses do that, just that there are some that seem to.

But here is the double standard for me, it seems that its a problem (not about you) in society at times that if a mom (actress) goes away it could be harmful for the kids, what about the fathers who have kids that go on shows like this, or movies, etc. To me dads should live by the same standards we hold mothers (actresses) to. I only raise this because of the fact that we never hear the same being said about dads. Thats a shame cause kids need both parents in their lives (if its only mom then her, if its only dad then him) if they are both there (together or not).

As to Kate from what I understand Jon is back around with the kids, between him and the nannies I am guessing the kids are either dealing at home with school, or whatever (never watched their show to start with) maybe they are with Jon. We don't know.

In order to participate on "Dancing with the Stars," Kate Gosselin requires a lot of work ... to her house.
Workmen were spotted hauling construction supplies into the mother of eight's Pennsylvania home on Thursday, where they will build a dance floor in Kate's basement so nannies she can watch her brood and practice shakin' her groove thang.
The 34-year-old single mom sure knows how to hustle.

This best interactive reality show on television. I have started watching Dancing With The Stars show from season 3. From this season I am watching it regularly. It is really awesome series.
