CSI Pyramid

Nope :)

No, I am NOT WRONG:

Per TV.com’s summaries (I read this after you said I was wrong):

Formalities:

http://www.tv.com/csi/formalities/episode/367694/recap.html

“In the Coroner's office, Dr. Robbins examines the body of Nikki Jensen and finds signs of sexual activity as well as traces of psilocybin, MDMA and THC in her system. Additionally, he extracts green-colored fibers from her nasal passages. She appears to have died from mechanical asphyxia.”

Risk:

http://www.tv.com/csi-ny/risk/episode/563880/recap.html

“Stella and Detective Flack are trying to find out why a high powered commodities trader hung himself. The body was found by Bobby Martin, the under-broker of the victim. Stella and Sid figure that the victim, Q.T. Jammer, was choked by something before he was hung out the window. They find a green fiber inside his mouth. Stella asks for a tox screen to find out what exactly it was that was all around his neck.”

Based upon the rules, I got it right.

Dynamo1: You are the judge on this one. Am I right or am I wrong?

You could have been right in that one catagory, but what you said wasn't what she was thinking off, therefor you'd be incorrect.

That wasn't specified in the rules. This isn't 20 questions. This is Pyramid and the goal is to find what all the listed items have specifically in common. The green fibres on the body are a very specific detail that they have in common.

Even if the items have more than one thing in common, this is something that qualifies as a correct answer.

Yeah Hankster you're right with your answer but as Calihan said that's not what I'm looking for. And since it's not in the rules, as you said, I can't say that your answer is correct ;) and I don't know the game Pyramid so I can't answer that, sorry.

In fact the answer is easier than the evidence thing :)

To the mod of this board: If there's any problem with this please let me know about it and I'll post the right answer inmediately so you'll be able to continue with others questions :).

Thanks a lot!!! :D

I am not a moderator, but I did watch a lot of the original Pyramid shows and was even in the audience a few times during the early years. Hankster may have given an answer that might fit the clues but might not be THE answer that CalleighWolfe was thinking of. Until someone guesses that one, we have to go by CalleighWolfe's decisions. IF CW would like to PM the answer to me, I can verify her decisions.

On my first post in this game, when I put "Luminol, DNA swabs, alternate light source, numbered tent cards, evidence bags...", I could have been thinking of "items found in a CSI field kit" and Lea's answer would have been wrong even though it was true that they are used at a scene of a crime. But she guessed what I was thinking and it became her turn.

Please remember one of the four "F's: Keep it friendly.

EDIT: I have just received a PM with the answer CalleighWolfe has decided it should be. I do not have any DVDs to verify this info so I will have to go with it. If, after someone guesses it and there is a challenge, I will judge differently. (And no, you can't bribe me for the answer in a PM. This game if just for fun.) If CalleighWolfe can find another episode that fits these clues, she can add it. If not, the game proceeds as it is now.

Thanks a lot Dynamo :) I really apreciate your answer :), I've already PMed you the answer :)

Edit: Bribe you? I just wanted to say thanks :) and then I posted it here 'cause I thought it was better :)

Edited again Oh bribe you :p Now I get it ;) oh well thanks again

I'm going to let you guys handle how this game is run, and choose the rules yourselves, but if it becomes a problem the thread can and will be closed. If you want to keep playing, you'll have to specify what does or does not count as the correct answer.

ok, my two cents. there was nothing specifically in the rules that any connection was the right answer, you have to guess what the person had in mind. there could be more than one thing in common, but not all answers can be anticipated by the person giving the clues so only the one they had in mind would be the correct one.

please do remember to keep it fun, dont bicker back and forth over thinking you are right or not. the person who provides the clues has the final say since they are the one who knows the answer they are looking for. and just a reminder that using all capitals can come across as yelling online, so becareful as some people might get upset.

ok, back to your game :)

eta: aw, FayFay you beat me to it! :p

The only other thing I can think of about Formalities and Risk is episodes where the CSI's handle a crime scene when they're off of work (Grissom was off at a banquet for Ecklie and Danny was off, riding the train home)

{Sidebar: My apologies for the bickering. I've been trying hard to get this one and I *thought* the green fibres *had* to be the answer}

Nope :), you're right but it's not what I'm looking for, although it's something about Grissom in LV episode ;)

{Apologies accepted, I don't know if they're for me, but don't worry about it :)}

CalleighWolfe, if you can think of any other episodes that fit your answer, now could be the time to add them to the clues. It seems a bit hard otherwise. PM'ed you with another idea for clues.

Wow, thanks Dynamo I thought it was an easy one :p

Well I want you to guess and keep playing (and I wanna keep playing too :)) so I'm gonna give the biggest clue I can give:

Formalities, Risk, Nothing to do with evidence or days off, Grissom and Mac: what do they have in common in those episodes? :D

I hope you can guess ;)

Hmmm... they're both dressed in tuxedos & they both havd to leave an important event to investigate a crime scene?

I think we have a winner, CW. The tuxedos were the things they have in common. I would have suggested some awards shows where they wore tuxedos, but that would have been the actors, not the characters. jorja_fan86, well done. Go for it.
