Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

Ok, so I kind of want to run up behind Flack and leap on him and demand a piggy back ride...is this odd? :shifty:

Fay, it isn't odd cause I was thinking something kind of like that. :)

I'm quoting a comment Tobin made in the Redemptio thread cause and putting it here just in case it's spoilerish for the finale. :)

If Shane Casey is gearing up for something evil, more evil than decapitation, then it must have something to do with the torturing of the living.

That's a possibility. Since its supposed to involve Danny and Lindsay, maybe Shane kidnaps both Danny and Linds and forces Danny to watch while he tortures Lindsay, or vice versa (that way he tortures both of them, one physically and the other mentally/emotionally/psychologically). I really hope little Lucy is left out of it. Maybe she can be with her grandparents for the weekend or something.

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

So my question is, since there was no preview for next week are we back to reruns again?

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

The good news is that, even though we have two weeks of repeats* to look forward to, we get new episodes every week in May leading up to the finale. Silver lining, y/n?

* "Battle Scars" on 4/21 and "It Happened to Me" on 4/28 according to the Futon Critic.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's a pity the cuts, that does not arrange the audiences of the show.

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

Oh wow--two weeks of reruns? Is that really right? Doesn't that leave 4 episodes to go? 620-623... which would put the finale on May 26th. That seems late, doesn't it?

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

NY and Miami both have their finales that week (the 24th and 26th), apparently - and CSI is the week before (on the 20th).

Ah, good to know. That must be the last night of May sweeps, I guess.

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

CBS has released details about all three season finales - here's the part about NY:

As the CSIs follow escaped criminal Shane Casey’s (Edward Furlong) trail across Manhattan, miles away from the mayhem, Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay (Anna Belknap) are enjoying a long overdue vacation until Casey’s plans threaten to endanger both their lives in this cliffhanger finale.
Hopefully that implies Lucy won't be involved, but I don't think the CSI description is entirely accurate about the returning guest star (meaning the bit about being put behind bars last season), so I dunno...

Also, here's yet another picture of the lighthouse, but this time it's from the inside. They did a good job making it look like an old lighthouse and not something that was just built on a soundstage. :)

lighthouse not even lit, but already with a good view http://twitpic.com/1fuzgc

With all the effort and hard work being put into this lighthouse, I totally think it's going to be the site of something epic...

It has to be if it's going to live up to being worse than decapitation.

I'm really trying to think of what could be worse than decapitation. Maybe Shane finds a way to permanently freeze Lindsay's expression into the Scrunch Face? Does something to Danny's tear ducts so that he cries all the time? What happens in that Lighthouse of Doom??? :scream:

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

Cliffhanger finale? No, more like LIGHTHOUSE-OF-DOOM-HANGER!!!!11 (You know, like someone is dangling off the side of the Lighthouse of Doom or something.)

But yeah, I had the same thought about the lighthouse - it's gotta be pretty important to the plot if they're building it. I doubt they're going through all this trouble just to have Danny and Lindsay gaze out over the landscape before heading down to go for a stroll or something.

If they build it, Shane Casey will come. [/lame "Field of Dreams" reference]

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

Maybe the lighthouse isn't part of the final scenes but part of the beginning murder that they're investigating? :shrugs:

I dunno, but it does thankfully sound like baby Lucy won't be involved.
