CSI: NY Season 4 Spoilers! Discussion in the Big Apple

Kimmy I hope that the door-mat prediction will not come true. I know that there are many chances of that to happen, but please, oh please don't. IMO it'll be an insult to Carmine, who I consider that he's annoyed with the whole season 3 story as well, hence the "utility guy" comment he made. Danny was pushed back in force this season, since Child's Play, and in only three episodes Danny was troubled again and somewhat back to his old issues, and if the whole lapdog Danny comes back to the screen, everything will be thrown away to pieces. And in spite that Carmine is a great actor, in the last scene he had with Lindsay, he acted it so badly, I'm talking Learning Curve bad.*sigh* What annoys me is that Mac and Stella were changed to fit Lindsay's personality. And now, Hawkes signs the list. I love Flack for the fact that he always looks annoyed around Lindsay. If they screw up Flack too..man oh man!

Which brings me back to missing Season 1 Danny, even beginning of season two. There were only three episodes (maybe 4) in S3 where Danny truly shined: Hung Out to Dry, Raising Shane, Heart of Glass and Snow Day. OK. We need some really good scientists that can study the CSI:NY black hole and pull put out everything that was sucked in it (along with common sense).

Yeah I agree about Flack. It was high time that he got some screen time and a background, after all it's only been almost 3 seasons since we got something about the guy:rolleyes:

Hawkes is in the black hole I mentioned earlier. We practically know nothing about the guy. Only from the character bio that he was a child prodigy. Wow! That's some good info *raised eyebrow*. I wouldn't hold my breath for some Hawkes development, but maybe TPTB will surprise us (highly doubt but, meh..)

I hope door-mat Danny doesn't come back either, and I'm still rootin' for DL. I don't see why every single drama either one of them goes through has to be tied to the other. To some extent yes, fine but not this explicitly. They can be there for each other but TPTB need to stop treating them like 1 entity. Danny and Lindsay are both individual characters that need to grow outside their relationship too! :scream:

He does? I like the dynamic between Flack and Lindsay. They can be kinda snarky with each other -- and I'd take Lindsay scenes with anyone other than Danny right now.

And Kimmychu's right - what happened to Hawkes? He is still on the cast list right? Sometimes I wonder if he's just going to disappear without so much as a call...

With the amount of screentime he's been getting, I think he could pull off a disappearing trick without many people noticing...

So, more Hawkes and Adam please! :D

Getting back to the spoiler discussions, I can't wait for Admissions to air. I have just read the spoiler report for the episode (shame on me, I know) and I am really curios to see Gerrard, giving the fact that his daughter is somehow in the middle. I think the guy is not going to be pleased, given the fact that his relationship with Mac's team isn't all good and nice. I am expecting some tension between Gerrard and the team, Raising Shane style.

I know, I'm really interested to see it too. It's not just Mac who Gerrard has conflict with - we know he 'has it in' for Danny, and he p*ssed off Stella in Raising Shane when he threatened Danny. I don't think he's Hawkes' favorited person after RS either. Flack will probably be caught in the middle between the CSIs and Gerrard because he can identify with Gerrard a bit more and of course Gerrard is his boss. But if Gerrard messes with Danny, he better watch out for Flack.;) I also think Flack's opinion of Gerrard has gone down a bit after Comes Around.

Either way, Gerrard is not going to be one happy camper :D His daughter investigated by the people that he has conflicts with, and which threatened him. Maybe Gerrard will put pressure on the team again. Or maybe, given the fact that his daughter is in the middle of the issue, he will be more responsive.

Basically, I can't hardly wait. Either way Admissions does sound like a good episode. Since the strike is over, we've seen only good ones. Maybe they are trying to redeem themselves after Playing with Matches

Thanks for posting the press release for the finale, vegaslights. :)

Lori Mandel............................... Sharni Vinson

Aww, I'd just like to say it's nice to see that moving to Hollywood is working out well for AJ's girlfriend. Congrats to Sharni Vinson. :)

I'm very excited for the finale.

I am just curious, one of the guest stars, Adam Baldwin, isn't he a regular on a different show on a completely different network?

If it is the same guy, I am excited, though, because I love this guy!

I think you're thinking of Alec Baldwin, who stars on 30 Rock. :)

I'm really liking this guest cast, except who they have set for the hostage taker. Roger Aaron Brown is a great actor. I remember him from the CBS show "The District" and he was great on that. :)

No, I was thinking of Chuck on NBC. The scary agent guy is Adam Baldwin. I also remember him from Firefly. Oh well, regardless, I love the casting on this episode!

Adam's real life girlfriend is in this episode? That should be interesting! ;)

Well, IMDb went straight to this Adam Baldwin's page, so I guess it is the guy from Chuck, eveninstarz14 (since there isn't more than one guy with the name).

MAJOR MITCHELL ZOMG! *cough* Sorry, Independence Day dork moment right there. Please forgive me. (*coughcough*Major Mitchell/Dr Okun OTP!*coughcough*)

And I didn't even notice Sharni listed there, Elsie--it's good to see her getting roles in LA. :D

Knew i recognised the guy from somewhere in the promo pics he was also in Angel which i used to watch lots.

Interesting to see AJ's girlfriend in NY she is great on Home and Away its my lunchtime fix watching it will be nice to see if she has a aussie or american accent for it.

So that's who it is! I love Adam Baldwin! lol. His character on "Chuck" is hilarious!

I am just wondering since he is a regular on another show (I know it is not on right now) how was he able to work on this show which is on a different network?

I don't know anything about 'Chuck', but I guess if they are on hiatus and he asked then they must have given him their permission. I kind of recognise the guy, but I'm not sure what I've seen him in.

^He's one of those guys who's been in a lot of different stuff. You always think you know him from somewhere but aren't quite certain. My favorite role of his was Jayne on Firefly/Serenity, but according to imdb, he's also guest starred on CSI:Miami. Anywhoo, I'm excited to see him guesting on NY!

Tru dat.^

I remember seeing him in The X-Files. He was a supersoldier who eventually disintegrated in the desert in the series finale /xfgeek

Anyhow, I saw the cast list on the other thread for the finale. I'm glad the two women who recently popped up in Mac's life aren't included. Coz really :vulcan:
