CSI:NY season 2 comes to the Philippines

Surprise! I was able to follow the case of the fungal spores last night (so that's what Carmine was talking about in one of his old interviews, heh). I dunno if it was because I'm actually awake this time but my third viewing did the trick. I liked it: not great but not bad either.

The leeches? Ewwwww. Not a good thing to see when one's having dinner. Queasy, queasy.

And chaostheory, try the PinoyDVD forum. I got my set for only p1,500 (sealed) from another member :D
 
Just finished watching it! I liked it, I thought that the Danny-Mac-Hawkes case was a pretty smart and creative case; the way they smuggled in the drugs through paint. I liked the line when Mac asked Danny if he was good with a wrench and Danny said "Am I good with a wrench?"

I was a little taken aback when they played "My Humps" in the beginning of the show. Eugh, I have an intense dislike for that song. No offense to anyone who likes it, though.

Flack may have little screentime in this eppy, but he looked absolutely gorgeous in it. During the part when that guy gave the gun to Flack, he had this look in his eyes that could have made a room full of women go all gaga. Can't say the same about his tie though, but I'm not complaining! :lol:

The leeches thing made all the hairs on my body stand! I mean, I'm not easily grossed out by these kinda things but seeing the leeches was just... eugh.

Lindsay looked cute in this eppy, I like seeing her work with Stella. Girl power! :lol: I also like seeing her work with Mac and Danny (yeah, hi, Danny/Lindsay shipper here; so shoot me :D)

The ending of the episode was great. The man's devotion to his wife and the need for him to cover for her was very, very touching. It's sad when he said that he was going to die, though.
 
ha ha yeah, I like that wrench thing too. I was laughing so hard when I saw Danny's face when he heard Mac ask him that does he good with the wrench :lol:

Yeah, I love Danny's comment too. And I'm not into DL too lol.. I'm a DnA loyalist, sorry. Anyway, I like Stella's childlike reaction when Lindsey was telling her bit by bit who the killer really is.

I love Hammerbeck. He seems- to me anyways- like the one voicing out what the audience is thinking or feeling. He flirts with Stella (who wouldn't?) and wait till he comments about the whole Danny/Lindsey thing.

I love how Stella was all giddy with the magnetized bullets and gun. And her reaction to the husband begging her that it be him they arrest was awesome.

and, as always Flack is love. And Danny's been wearing some tight clothes lately. Not that I'm complaining...
 
Speaking of Danny's tight ensemble.... denim + tightness = Danny's rear-end. Lol!!!! And a guy who can fix the sink is always good.

OMG, Flack is sssooo hot during his first scene, hand on his holster, and he's LEFT-HANDED! Yay!

As for "My Humps" -- I always envisioned that as a background scene music for a DnA case... not in any DL story. May I ask what did Lindsey and Danny take during college -- I'm pretty sure 'chemistry' is not it. Lol!

Word on Stella's fascination for the magnetized bullets. Which made me wonder, though: Wasn't the doctor wearing that necklace while she was doing the MRI? It's just that this scene in that movie "The One" came to mind, when Jet Li's character was forced to take off his necklace and wedding ring while doing the MRI. Does that only apply to the patient undergoing it, or also the people operating the machine? Just wondering. :confused:

The song didn't bother me too much. Black Eyed Peas are cool in my book. :)
 
'Wasted' was a pretty cool episode, Ecstasy in paint - that was pretty original. The other case with the leeches was a little sad, the guy was so devoted to his wife...but seriously, that wife deserves to go to jail. She's the one who's stupid enough to kill the doctor, not her husband.

I miss Flack's snarkiness! :( I guess we got to see his 'softer' side this time. Although when he reached for his gun..sighness...

Anyway, tiqlado yes, for that one scene... I would watch it again. Towards the end, notice Flack's necktie lol...

Re:MRI == well, CSI has its own share of glitches and such. And speaking of "The One" (why do I always find a CSI connection) - Archie had a speaking role there. One line.
