Aaaah that was the exact effect I was trying to create for the Eva one...it took a long time to do that...I just kept playing around with the "soften" tool and it makes it look slightly burry (just takes the hardness away)...it takes a bit of trial 'n' error...you have to have it just right if you soften it too much it'll be too soft and blurry and it you don't soften it enough it'll stay hard..

The first Jon one is totally my favourite too!!

Okay mine...haha I finally got adobe photoshop elements 6 but I can't figure how to use it (I could really do with a tutorial :lol: ) so I'm still making icons with fireworks to here's one:
