CSI: LV Crossover - What Would You Like To See?

I have an idea, and anyone feel free to make this a fic if ya want. Cath's exit could be her, Linds, Lou and Lilly having to go into the witness protection program... enter US Marshals Mary Shannon and Marshall Mann (In Plain Sight). Cath and family are sent to Albuquerque, New Mexico and have to make a new life. Neither Cath nor Lou can work in any kind of law enforcement. What would they do if they can't do law enforcement type of work. Hey, I think I'm gonna post this in the fanfic idea thread LOL.

How about a CSI/The Simpsons crossover? *grins*
:guffaw:Can you imagine Hodges transformed into a yellow version of himself?

Good for you, GregNickRyanFan. Now if only my creativity could spark up...

Hate to dig up an old thread but it was still on page one...

As far as crossovers, I say NCIS and CSI crossover. Have said this for several years. I would have loved to see Gibbs/Grissom do a couple of episodes together, but I think Gibbs/D.B. Russell could be interesting. As long as several characters crossed, it would be great, but cameos and one-man-crosses are horrible IMHO.

Surely the writers could make this happen!!

I still want more people than just Ray to visit New York. Brass and Mac or Brass and Flack talking would be epic. Of course, we'd be liable to get remarks somewhere along the line with Sara and Lindsay, with the two on-the-job romance pairings.

Too bad there's no show that I know of set in Boston (Boston Legal is long over)...isn't that where Cheers was? That'd be extremely cheesy but funny.

I kept trying to figure out a Highlander crossover myself. I could have done it with Warrick if not for the part with his son...the DNA matched and immortals can't have kids. Nick might work if he was actually adopted, or Sara.

There are some interesting ones at FF.net. I'd love a Bones cross if Grissom were still there. Grissom and Hodgins SO need to get together. They even both like bug races. (although Grissom races cockroaches and Hodgins races beetles). Sara and Tempe could bond over foster care backgrounds. Sadly, Warrick isn't with us to make friends with Booth, who also has a gambling issue.

Someone also did an Animorphs cross, which I loved, although having several CSIs end up with aliens in their brains was sad at the same time. They did Buffy crossovers too...those are harder to reconcile, even though I'm a huge fan of both. I liked the Sara as a slayer idea, but CSI just doesn't lend itself well to magic. (It was more subtle in Highlander). A vampire show that would work would be Forever Knight...the vampirism had a scientific angle.

But dragging myself back to shows that are still on the air, I also like the NCIS idea, even though I don't watch it.

As fun as it would be to see several different cross-overs, the only one that really makes sense for me, and be realistically do-able, would be Criminal Minds. They, as the FBI, travel the country, so they could go to Vegas and interact with the whole team, plus we know Vegas has a field office. The biggest difference I see is that CM focuses on behavior while CSI is forensics, but maybe they could still swing it.

As much as I love both NCIS's, I'm having a hard time thinking of any Naval cases that could take place in Vegas, lol. Maybe I'm just not creative enough. :p

On a CSI multi crossover, my favorite idea would be with NY again, but only if there was a way to make all of our cast involved, not just one person like the last time they tried. The spin off pilots worked pretty well in the beginning, as they introduced most of the casts, but the ones with only Ray going to Miami and NY just sucked, imo.

Watching the 2010 cross-over as a NY fan was ok, although even then there wasn't enough of the rest of the cast featured, with the exception of Mac and Ray of course. As a Nick fan, the first two sucked until it ended in Vegas

Didn't NCIS go to Arizona or something? Maybe a killer from a cold Navy case moved to Vegas or something? Just throwing ideas out there. :)

I'd love to see a proper CSI/spinoff crossover, with multiple characters involved.

Yes, you're right! I'd forgotten that one. I remember liking it because Gibbs and Tony had to ride some horses, lol. I just looked it up on imdb, and funnily enough, that episode is scheduled to air on Oct 24th on the USA network. Guess I should watch it again!
