This thread is strictly for any awards show in which CSI LV or its cast is nominated or not nominated for, win or don't win, as we know the awards shows will be upon us, and I thought it good that we be ready for it.

This is not a wish thread, this is for actually submissions, presenters, nomination, non-nomination discussions when they happen.

Re: CSI LV Awards Discussion

Okay we have the starter post for this thread now...

Congradulations to George Eads (source Futon critic) on his nomination for "Tv-Choice Actor" -- The coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards when TEEN CHOICE 2006, for the first time, airs live Sunday, Aug. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX, following an advance look at the glitz and glamour of the event during a hot red carpet special Sunday, Aug. 20 (7:30-8:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed).

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

Just a heads up, you can vote for him here. Let's hope we see George take him a surf board this year!

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

WOOT! I'm totally gunning for George. Even if it's for Teen Choice. He really deserved some recognition for his work last year. He was outstanding.

AND LV won a "Monte Carlo Award" which is a fans' choice thing as well, winning for favorite TV Drama.

ETA - I don't see George on the list.

ETA - I don't see George on the list.

You have to keep going through the different category until you reach 'Choice TV Actor'. And if it's still not there, you're probably voting for the first wave. Make sure you click the button that takes you to vote for the second wave.

Also, if you can't vote at all it's because you have to register with the site first. Annoying, I know, but it only takes a few seconds.

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

FYI...the 2006 Emmy nominations will be announced on July 6th. I'm crossing my fingers that George and CSI in general get *some* sort of recognition this year around.

The actual award ceremony will be at the end of August. Seems kinda early this year.

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

Yeah! George finally gets some recognition for the great actor that he is!!!!!

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

Yes! I'm all for George winning! He so deserves it! George has went beyond and acted his chops off!

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

You just hope when the Emmy nominations are announced George is recognized as well. I would settle for the show to be nominated.

Re: CSI LV Nominated / Not Nominated Awards Discussion

If I look at Emmy noms pragmatically and without my CSI rose-tinted specs, my head says the only actors with a chance of pulling down acting noms are Grissom, Catherine and Brass (for ABRTI), not that the others aren't deserving.

Re: CSI LV Awards Discussion

First: I have changed the name of the thread its shorter and gives more info in the title, though I still recommend that people read the first post if they haven't already.
