Conquences: The Trial

"I'll do my best, I promise." Mac replied. "Oh...Stella's with me if you want to talk to her as well, you know woman to woman, that sort of thing." "She and Danny had a fight and he left" he mouthed to Stella. "I'll let you talk to her if she wants to talk."

Lindsay jumped at the chace to talk with Stella. "Yes, please. I want to talk with her straight away, Mac"

Lindsay knew she hadn't had a child before or probably been pregnant either. But she could always count on Stella for someone to just talk to, with no judgement, no worry about what she'd think if she told her something. She just wishes Danny was like that too.

DetectiveCurtis said:
Eric had to lie. "She and Speed were dating. When Tim died, she vowed to get even with everyone that knew him." Eric said with a straight face. He knew it was a lie but he had to make it work.

Flack raised an eyebrow, something was definetly off.
"A New York attorney dates a Miami CSI? How did that come about?"

"You'll be the best father ever Horatio. You are like a father figure of the lab. Wait...would that make me the mother figure?"

She laughs a little.

"I never ever want to leave your side ever again."

Horatio smiled as Calleigh tried to reassure him about his new fatherhood, though, he still was unsure of himself.

"I never want you to leave my side ever again," he said. He was tired. He closed his sapphire eyes for a little while, keeping his hand wrapped around her small, delicate one the entire time he slept.

Eventually, his eyes fluttered opened. He found that sleep had also claimed Calleigh, as she had laid her head on his bedside. He gently took his hand out from under her hand and gently stroked her hair, hoping he wouldn't wake her. She was beautiful when she slept, and very peaceful.

He thought to himself while she slept. He wondered what kind of father he would be. He wondered if it was going to be a boy or a girl. He also wondered if his child would have gorgeous green eyes and beautiful, blond hair, taking after his mother, or blue eyes and flaming red hair like him. Then, he got nervous again, and slightly insecure about his path towards being a father.

A doctor walked in, interrupting his thoughts and waking Calleigh. He said loudly that Horatio was okay, there will be muscle stiffness in the legs for a while, but he could leave when he was ready to.

"Well, let's get out of here. We can go back to the hotel, if you'd like, or we can go out and do something. It's up to you, Mommy," he said, testing the word's sound. It rolled off of his tongue and it sounded just right.

Eric looked at Flack and said, "Um, I don't really know. That's what she told me." Again Eric was lying.

Danny was in Queens and had turned off his phone. He wasn't in the moode to talk to anyone. The woman he loved lied so why should he trust her. He was gonna get a hooker and have some fun and he did. Not because he was lonely but because he wanted sex.

sofia looked at delko, and then to flack. 'why.. why do i have the feeling that something in your story isn't right? they live in different towns, have different lives, i don't see how they could get together...', she said, with a sigh. she moved closer to flack, and whispered in his ear, with a very soft voice (which she always used when talking to flack) 'I don't believe him.. or i do.. i don't know, i'm confused about this... we should find alyssa...'
then, she looked up to delko again. 'do you know WHERE alyssa is at this moment?? we need to find her', and she gave another sigh.

"I have no clue alright." He said as it was the first thing that was the truth. "Maybe she's still in town, waiting to kill the next person." Delko said as he knew that his atturney didn't do it. All he had to do was prove it to Sophia and Don that it was the truth and he was off the hook.

Alyssa was tired and she wanted to go find Eric to take him home. She was the one he was supposed to be staying with, or at least she thought he was. She got into her little sports car after puttting her stuff in the boot and drove off, looking for Eric Delko.

~~~
five minutes later, she drives into a small parking lot near a beach when she noticed the tall cuban talking to two detectives. She got out and stood about 6 feet away when she asked, "Delko, what are you doing here? I was looking for you"
(ok I did that just ot move things along alittle. I'm going to be subbing as Catherine for a little while as well. DC's orders :lol: )
Warrick looked at Catherine and said, "Come on, I've got a big hotel room, just enough for the two of us." he said as he began to smile real big. "What you say Cath?"
She was shocked. She didn't know what to say, she opens her mouth to say something, but all that comes out is a breathless "Yes, Warrick."
(sorry that it wasn't a little longer lol)
Stella took the phone from Mac, and put it up to her, "Lindsay? Are you ok? What happened?" She was worried about her, Especially when Mac mouthed that she and Danny had a fight.
"Oh, Stella.........I....well, we were talking about how if he keeps up his talk of him in his NYPD lbues hed end up being father to four kids instead of two, then I made some stupid comment about not feeling beautiful and then he said 'Your still a hot woman to me' then I said 'I better be' then he said something along the lines of 'I don't know whether to be appauled or happy' and I didn't tell him that I felt insecure - I just got out of the car on my own and he left me here, he sas hes gonna come by in the morning and get all his stuff!" She says really quick, without even a slight slip-up, the fact she was crying was evident through her sobs after she finished talking.
Mac handed the phone to Stella, listening to Stella's side of the conversation, waiting quietly for her to finish. He knew that he would never say anything to hurt Stella if he could help it; he felt secure with her already, in several ways. He knew she wasn't the type to cheat or intentionally hurt him, and for some reason, he felt protected when he was with her, even though he could look out for himself just fine.
Calleigh grabbed his hand.
"Let's go out to dinner. No questions from me. No nothing at all, except both of us enjoying a romantic dinner."
She smiled widely.
Horatio gently brought her hand to his face and kissed it gently. He nodded twice, glad that she wanted to go to dinner, but secretly wishing they could just go back to the hotel and rest. His legs were indeed sore and stiff. He held onto Calleigh for support, as he stood up from his seat in the hospital bed. He leaned on her as they walked out and handed her the keys to his beamer.
"Here you go dear, you get to drive," he chuckled inwardly, as her smile glowed. Horatio didn't often hand the keys over to his new BMW. "We can go to anywhere you feel like driving," he told her as he climbed awkwardly into the passenger's seat.
Calleigh sees Horatio having difficulty walking, and can't help feeling bad for him. She decides that a restful night at the hotel would be better, so she starts the car and drives off to the hotel.
"A tiny change of plans."
