According to this article, CSI: NY scored big and cast Claire Forlani in a recurring role on CSI: NY. I have a feeling it's probably as Jennifer Angell, the new detective, because who else could it be? And Gary says she's going to have an arc that lasts 2-3 episodes. Very interesting!

For those of you who don't know who she is, this is her IMDb page. She's been in Meet Joe Black and Boys & Girls, and many other films. She's British, a really great actress, and really gorgeous, too. NY scored big in getting her!

I wonder what her arc is going to be. She's working with Danny and Hawkes in the first episode. I bet there'll be some flirting (or more!) between her and Danny. I'm curious to see what the arc with her will be. I'm looking forward to it!

According to the trivia page I found, that Keanu Reeves dating info is very recent. June 2006, to be exact.

What I thought was odd about that at first was because there were rumors Keanu Reeves had been dating a much older Hollywood actress, Diane Keaton. They acted in a romance movie with Jack Nicholson, if I'm right. I guess he decided to move on to, uhm, fresher pastures. :p
 
If I remember correctly, I didn't like her American accent in Boys And Girls, but who knows, things can change. As for MJB, I haven't seen it.

I think if they keep her British it'd be cool. I can just picture her going head to head with Flack in sarcasm and wit! (not that an "American" couldn't do that, but still... :p)
 
I have read that Keanu has already proposed. Pretty fast if they have dated from June ...? Well, if you meet right person, why not *sigh*
 
I'd love to see her match wits with Flack. But since they're both detectives, I doubt they'll be on screen much together, if at all.

I wonder if the scoop about Keanu and Claire is true! I seem to remember reading that in US Weekly not long ago, too. I heard the same rumor about Keanu and Diane Keaton (they were in Something's Gotta Give together). He actually was dating someone from his movie The Lake House when that filmed in Chicago last fall, but that ended soon after the movie wrapped.
 
Wow. These celebs sure go through their partners fast, eh? :p Well, if it's true, awww, Keanu and Claire. One of my best friends is gonna cry her eyes out. :lol:

Maybe personality of many actors is so passionate (which is prerequisite to acting!) and they experience a lot in short time?
 
Yay, that's awesome news! Maybe bringing in a well known actress will attract more viewers to the show, especially loyal fans who follow her work. I'm glad they hired somebody whom I actually heard off. I remember her in that film Boys & Girls. Anyway, she is gorgeous and I'm sure Danny or one of the guys(maybe Hammerback :lol:) will flirt with her. This should be interesting...
 
CBS scored hard in that casting. Claire is a great actress who is drop-dead gorgeous. Hopefully she'll attract a few of her own fans to the show.

My prediction for the 2-3 episode story arc? It goes something like this: Claire and Danny work together, Claire and Danny [CENSORED], Claire goes back to wherever the hell she came from and a heartbroken Danny is too distraught to consider dating anyone else. A simple device to put the torturous Danny/Lindsey storyline out of its misery.
 
Cool. She's gorgeous in an intelligent way (huh?) Having her flirt with Danny would be too obvious. Meybe she'll be a serious kinda detective, you know, a little too full of herself, and Hawkes put her in her place. Then there will be love and GSR floating in the air... :p
