wow i can't believe i just noticed this thread now! i love charmed and piper is definately the coolest. i have to say i just started watching charmed this summer because it was after angel on TNT and because my mom watches it all the time. so now i'm hooked to the show. can't wait to see the new season!
 
ive seen a clip of it from tv.com, but i live in the UK, so wont see it until january which sucks.

it was good though?
 
Hey I am not alone in this world. I watch Charmed sometimes if I can catch it and I am waiting on CSI to come on. I am like "what the heck. Mights as well watch it right." Hehe. Ya dude!..-Sessy

It kinda was but i can't really say cause i had read the script before it aired, but for a person who hasn't i think it has a lot of suprises. Overall it was different and fresh.
 
I havent read any new posts on here yet ( there are way too many) So I'm guessing there is a new season right? What season is that now - I mean I love Charmed ( :lol: I started this thread ) And Cole is my fav, also phoebe :D but when will this new season be aired in the Uk, also does anyone knoe when the new box set will be out?
 
My friend gave me a review and said it was awesome. She even said she'd rewatched the episode, which, considering how she was last season, means its hella good lmao

Season 8 has just started in America, to answer your earlier question :) I hadnt spotted it before, sorry lol

Cole was seasons 3-5 :)
 
The season 7 finale was on here in The Netherlands yesterday. It was a great episode. Definately the best from the whole season, it felt a bit like one of the early episodes. Too bad Prue wasn't in it. They learned to astral project via Prue, would be cool if she was in the episode like Cole a few episodes earlier. I would love to see her as a ghost. But I don't think Shannon Doherty would do that.
 
YES! that's exactly what i was thinking! even if shannon got fired, i think she should show a bit of respect for her fans and let her see her again, at least in one other episode!
 
As i posted this in an older post Charmed i posted this about shannen.

persae, the problem came when in the end of season two through the middle of season 3 shannen (Prue) announced to the powers that be that she wanted out of her contract, they said no, things between the cast and crew got heated toward the end of season 3.
Well they filmed the first part of season 3 "all hell breaks loose" then went on their vacations, when Shannen left she went to Canada to film a move "Another day" while in canada she recieved a phone call from her attorney.
The call stated that she was not to report back to work on charmed that the powers that be accepted her request to end her contract with them.

This left the second half not filmed and neither shannen nor spelling/paramount wanted her back to film the other part.

So the basic run down is (After the rumor mill closed)
-Shannen wanted out of contract early.
-Neither party wanted to film the second half of the cliff hanger so they scrambled to write a new version.
-Shannen has stated numerous times that she will not return, nor will she allow the use of past flash backs, or someone else to step into the role (she can do this as she has a financially vested interest in the on screen character).
-Alyssa and Shannen and Holly did argue on set but ALL three have since made up and are friends again.

By the way in the "Did you know area of the show" shannen is still to this day making money from charmed even though she doesn't act on it anymore (and i am referring to seasons after she left of new eps), thats because she has a fiancial investiment into the show, it was part of her contract.
That she has controlling say over her on screen character, and what could be used (ie only thing is the image of the back of her (Ep "Cat House") and photographs you would see on the wall or stands.
That she has gets paid from syndication residuals, and because of an investiment in the show she recieves money for any new eps that air.
