Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

BWWWHHHAAAA (that's Hanksters evil laugh I picked up)
I think it was a 'date' too. :D Someone said on the episode thread (it is Meet Market, right?) that Cath and Keppler were just out to 'end the day, talk about the case' whatever... but wouldn't the rest of the crew be with them? Nick, Warrick, Brass, possibly Sara?

It was a 'date'. :D ;)

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

Lol,you guys make my day.

The Sum of All Fears is worth watching even though Liev is only in there for about a half an hour.He is awesome though.I think he is a hitman, but I'm not sure. This is one movie that totally confused me...twice.

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

Oh please, it was SO a date.

I mean, they were drinking and talking and stuff...TOGETHER.

That's enough proof for me. (Haha, it's always with the evidence, isn't it?) :D

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

I agree it was SSSOOOO a date ;)
again otherwise the rest of the crew would be with them right?
and he was starting to open up to her.. and I loved it in the cafe in Sweet Jane when he said his uncle was a dentist and Cath said, but he's not a serial killer, and he replied, I don't know I haven't seen him in a while.

Haha, the evidence never lies! Seriously, that scene was one of my favs in that episode. The whole episode was good, but Cath and Keppler sharing a drink together will hold a special place in my heart.

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

^LOL. That was a major highlight for me too. I squealed a little watching them on their little date. :D

Oh yeah...the dentist-serial killer remark...

Another cute moment:

Keppler: Stealing cars gets old fast. I like more of a challenge.

Catherine: Note to self.

*teehee*

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

ok, here is a question for all of you

where else would they have gone if... you know... he would have lived and Cath continued to 'see' him.

I mean where do you think they would have gone out? Obviously for drinks but where else?
to the movies?
for dinner?
to a bookstore? or a reading?

Just use your imagination :D

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

How about a car show? It would kinda fit their running car theme. Hear me out. I'm stretching this, but it's all in the name of love!

First, there's the scene where Cath and Mike are faking the crime scene in the car. That scene resulted with the infamous "I'm not used to faking it." line. Followed by the equally notorious "When was the last time you had to?" line.

Second reason a car show would be a good date:

Third reason, is completely superficial and has no basis in canon. Picture this:

Mike, Cath and a red Corvette. 'Nuff said. :D

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

that's a good scenario edog a red corvette. I bet she likes it fast

it makes me thing of 4x4 with the RV show :D

so a car show it is.. and later Cath can 'model' it for him
he he he ;)

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

How do you think she would've introduced him to Lindsey? And how would she have acted toward him? Also, had he lived, with all the stuff he had gotten himself into, how do you think she would have helped him?

just musings :)

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

I think she would have brought him home to meet Lindsey.
To me, Lindsey is pretty open minded and a good balance for Catherine. (that's how I see Lindsey anyway)

Keppler I'm sure would LOVE Lindsey. Lindsey is smart, pretty responsible (FINALLY) and would probably be open to anyone who would make her mom happy

again that's how I see Lindsey.

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

How old is Lindsay now?14 15?I think it would depend on her age how she would react to him.Naturally,if she were 10,she would be shy around him,but if she were 16,she would have the "whatever" attitude.Trust me,I know.Hint:I'm 16. ^_^

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

Didn't Cath say in Sweet Jane to Keppler that Lindsey was 15?

and she might have that WHATEVER attitude. I think Lindsey is at the age where she is going to pick up dating tips and hints from Cath.
If Cath is dating a decent guy (we all know that Keppler was 'on the side of good'),and Cath didn't have the best luck with men, then Lindsey will probably look for the same with the guys she likes...
that's just a thought

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

I think Lindsey already went through the "whatever" phase. I remember a couple seasons back, maybe a season after Eddie died, she was caught hitchhiking, and somewhere in the conversation between her and her mom she had this really "I hate you and the world" attitude. It seems she's grown a little now. And I would think Lindsey is similar to her mom when looking for guys also. She's probably learned from her mom though, so she'd have more luck too. :)

Re: Catherine and Keppler #1: Not Used To Faking It

I think so too with Lindsey. In Harvest she was hitch-hicking to see Sam was it? Then in Built to Kill Cath and her seemed more connected.

So I think if Cath is happy then Lindsey would be happy for her.
Keppler would have liked Lindsey, he seems like the type who would be good with kids
