Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I'm sure she's so devastated and wallowing in sorrow, they were so great together, and he was so good with her daughter, so sweet and tender, I can't imagine the pain she must be feeling, I always thought he'd stay, and the writers would step up to the plate, and put them together, but alas, it's not meant to be, how sad:(

DOWN THE DRAIN so passionate:p

This is a great cap from "FOR GEDDA" the last scene in the diner, they were so close and so happy, and then he walked down that dark ally:klingon:If this hadn't if happened they would have continued down a perfect path of bliss:p

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

aww thank you, it's beautiful. it seems like cath is really enjoying the time she's standing next to him, and she looks like she feels very save. and he'd protect her from all around :(

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

Ugh. I can't remember which episode that was. I *almost* want to say 1x02 Cool Change but her hair's too... cute? I'm thinking maybe season 4 sometime? Why don't I know when that cap was taken?

So I've been writing more CSI fanfiction these days. It's weird that I'm okay with him being gone... and that I'm still writing. Granted, he's been in every piece I've even thought about starting lately.

Death doesn't stop love, it only delays it!

I used that quote in the A/N before the start of my challenge piece the other day. Could you possibly have read it?

*nods* It is yobling--unforutnately.

^ Very appropriate quote, indeed (and sadly).

I feel like a very bad fan to forget this, but which episode was it that Cath was semi-held hostage in her car and Warrick helped her out in some way? I remember there being a very cute Yo!Bling scene toward the end of the episode. I'm assuming the episode was toward the beginning of some season (probably 1 or 2) since the Yo!Bling scenes always seem limited to the beginning of the season ;(

I wished with all my heart this hadn't of ended the way it did, so sad especially for Cath, she must be so miserable and not having him around to talk to, they were so close:(maybe they'll do a CSI movie and he'll be in it with her!

It was season 2 The Finger well I think thats what the episode was called anyway! lol.
Yeah Warrick helped out Cath by picking Lindsey up from a school play she did and Cath then kissed Warrick on the cheek! Ah such a cute moment

Hi all! Dipping my toe in on this thread. Love these two. One of my two fav ships on CSI!!

Talk about bittersweet. I've always both loved and loathed that episode. It was the highest point in our journey wasn't it? I've still not given up... but I think I have accepted that he's gone. I still think that there's a chance we'll get some sort of confirmation that they were more than friends at one point.

Would that that were true!

I really love this 'ship. For some reason the fact that he's gone doesn't change how perfec they seemed to me. It's like their love transcends death. Or at least that my love of their love does. Haha.

I've been trying to get my YoBling writing prowess back but I'm not sure how well I'm doing. I wrote that one piece about eight weeks ago (yay FCG challenges) and I've just finished another challenge piece that I'm calling yobling. It's more Warrick/Catherine friendship/chemistry with a whole lot of Catherine in it. It's not bad though. Should have it up later today.

Fanfiction's what's keeping me going. Poeple in the fanfiction community don't seem to have forgotten us.

Well I for one, absolutely love all of your fic. I don't review often enough, but know that I do.

Wow, I'm honored that you even know who I am. Thank you. Thank you so very much.

Also, I'm really glad that we've got some more activity around here. :) I've missed this thread.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I felt like there was a pretty little Yo!Bling reference in Space Oddity. Hodges is talking about romantic possibilities at the Lab, specifically about a hypothetical situation between two coworkers, and Catherine seems to encourage it. She tells him the rules, stressing how one person would have to switch shifts, et al, but afterwards tells him that whoever it is should go ahead with the relationship because "life is too short". Poor Cath :( It sucks that life (or rather Warrick's life) was too short. I'm sure she was regretting not having had more time with him in that conversation.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

^ I noticed that too.Warrick would have being perfect tonight supporting Catherine all of the way. There is no other pairing in CSI with more sexual tension IMO.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I am glad to see no one has given up on Yo!Bling. That's great I thought I was the only one. Anyways keep posting.

Meanwhile, I just heard a song, and I think it fits YoBling so much. Especially now.

Look down - the ground below is crumbling
Look up - the stars are all exploding

It's the last day on earth
In my dreams
It's the end of the world
And you've come back to me
In my dreams

Between the dust and debris
There's a light surrounding you and me

It's the last day on earth
In my dreams
It's the end of the world
And you've come back to me
In my dreams

And you hold me closer than I can ever remember being held
I'm not afraid to sleep now, if we can stay like this until

It's the last day on earth
In my dreams
It's the end of the world
And you've come back to me
In my dreams

In my head I repeat our conversations
Over and over til they feel like hallucinations
You know me - I love to lose my mind
And every time andybody speaks your name I still feel the same
I ache, I ache, I ache inside

It's just so fitting... If anyone wants to download the album, you can click here

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

Oh, I haven't given up my love for this ship. I'm just obsessed with another fandom. I've let all and sundry over there know how sad I was over Warrick.

On the plus side, I've got an idea for a fic. It'll take a while to write it because I've never written for CSI, and I'm a slow writer, but it'll get done. Lots of YoBling goodness!
