I saw it last night, and I was a little disappointed. It was a great movie, but I thought they milked the love scenes between Vesper and James a little, there were way too many of those after Le Chiffre got killed. Besides, I thought Bond being really in love with her ruined it a little tiny bit for me. The story was a little bit complicated, but I think I'll understand it better after reading the novel (Casino Royale is one of the few I haven't read yet). Also the pre-title fighting scene wasn't very good. Normally the filthy places in Bondmovies somehow don't look THAT filthy, but here it did. Loved the part in the office though. The titles I loved, especially the part where those harts came out of the guns (they did that sort of thing in a previous movie too). Only thing I didn't like about it was Craig's head full-on screen at the end. Plus there could have been some female silhouets in it, but it was good withoutthose too. But like I said, overall it was great. I loved it that Le Chiffre had some deficiencies. Fleming always did that, but in the movies that didn't really come forward. I also just loved M's scenes. Like always, Judi Dench was great. But was that guy her secretary? If so, I think they should have sticked with Moneypenny; she has that charm.
I'm worried about the next movie in november 2008 though. It would be a closely related sequal to this one. I hope it works.
I have a question about the poker though, actually I have too. I know the blind is the person you start with, and the number of the blind is the minimum amount of money you're playing for. But what is the difference between a big and little blind?
And at the end they went all in, but those other two guys looked excited too. Though how can they be excited? They only had 4 and 5 million while Bond and Le Chiffre had way more? Can they still play for the money?
