Actually, the final scene of Tanglewood and the promo for On The Job have both inspired me to start writing my very first CSI : NY FanFic.

Coolness! You'll have to link us to it when you get done with it.

I'm sure you can find it at Talk CSI. You can always ask NY questions in this forum, fan fic questions in the Fan Fic/Art forum, Forensic Science questions in the Forensic Science forum, etc. :)

OK, I'll ask in here 'cos it's here that I've found so many like minded people :D

The story I have in mind is very Danny orientated. But does a CSI "victim" always have to be dead ?

I know it sounds like a dumb question but I really want to hit on human interest with both a live "victim" and a "dead" one...does that make sense ?

Does anyone know what's on his chain?

Calling all picture buffs: I have one of Carmine, shirtless, jacket open, showing abs <drool, wipe chin> (it's a black/white) but I have no clue how to load it. I'm sure someone else has it, and it's got a image of what's on the end of that chain. Looks like there's more than one thing on it but I can't quite make it out. Razorblade? Charm? Key? Dogtag?

Time for the Lockerroom detectives to get to it! And you get to look at his chest/abs as a bonus.

I think Danny is the same age as Sonny. Maybe a few years older? He looks older than Sonny but it's difficult to tell guy's ages.

You think Danny looked older than Sonny!? I thought it looked more the other way round. Couldn't help but smile every time Mac called Sonny 'kid'. Seeing as Sonny and Danny are probably meant to be about the same age do you think Mac and Stella think of Danny as a kid as well?

Usually, but not always. Sometimes someone can be beaten very badly, and the CSIs have to find out who did it. And in rape cases the victim isn't necessarily dead either. The original CSI even dealt with a robbery once (or more, maybe?). Kidnapping is also another instance of when the victim might still be alive.

Well, I'm OK with the dead one and there is going to be a live one connected to the dead one, if you get my meaning LOL !

Yeah, me too. Danny's totally the most emotionally vulnerable character on the show, so it makes sense that they picked him out for this to happen to. He's going to be a wreck over this--out of all the characters, he's probably the one least-equipped to deal with this.

I can understand why the writers keep picking on Danny but at times it feels like he's the only person in the building who makes mistakes which is annoying to say the least.

Re: The Locker Room: All Danny, All The Time

Poor ickle danny being made out to be the dumb blonde lol i find it weird the way he's been the one to show you 'what not to do in this situation' many times, but also the fact that it hasn't caused me to think that he's a bad CSI because he does come up with some really ingenious stuff.

At the end of the day i think the mistakes are all based on his emotions and they are just there to illustrate that this character is quite volalite emotionally, probably building up so that he can go to town with this whole cop shooting thing.

I personally think it's really good because it makes the character more real, he's not superhuman he is a slave to his emotions. So personally think he is the easiest character to identify with because of his depth.

And the fact all this creates danny angst is just a bonus :p (a very sexy bonus indeed )

Re: The Locker Room: All Danny, All The Time

I agree that Danny is the most 'human' of the characters and that it's only natural to react to the sort of things the CSIs have to deal with. The others were all a bit like robots at the start of the season but they are all getting to develop more now.

Apparently Mac hand picked Danny for the team and he is good with all the computer work.

lilbluewitch, is that you posting a story on ff.net? If so I'm waiting for the next chapter. :)

really i didn't know mac chose him because of that when did we find that out?? lol being good with computer he must be able to type pretty well which implies that he would be pretty damn good with his hands if you know what i mean ;)

You can use a Photo site like www.photobucket.com, upload the pic from your PC to Photobucket then there is an option where you post the the URL to that image in a post.

Dude, I love the DeLuise brothers! Bring on Peter, and bring back Michael. I want to see Sonny Sassone again! :D

21 Jump Street !!!!!

Heh, there's no way Sonny was only 26. Well, I guess it's possible the character is, but Michael looks older than that. Maybe not 35, but easily 29 or 30. And Danny does look younger than he is. But I imagine Danny's probably supposed to be in his late 20s. I wonder why we don't know the exact ages of any of the characters. It would be cool if that was on the main website.

We should compose a list of everything wrong with the NY website and send it to CBS.

Welcome to all of the newbies! The more Danny fans, the better! :D There sure are a lot of us...the Locker Room Groupies grow by the day.

Let me also extend a big welcome to our newest arrivals! :)

Hope everyone had a good weekend! :D Bitten, how was the Cuervo? JDonne, how was the 80s and the party? I had a good time on Friday at the wine bar, and then saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Saturday night. If you're into zany British humor, I definitely recommend it. :D

The party was fun and cozy. We watched Some Kind of Wonderful, the movie that made me love Eric Stoltz and moved Pretty and Pink down a notch on my list . When the Sangria was gone, we mixed a rather tasty yet never to be repeated, because no one remembers, concoction in the blender. It started with Cuervo and Havana Rum, and then ended with Minute Maid Frozen lemonade. I couldn't tell what came in between. Top I'm glad you had a good time at the wine bar and enjoyed the movie. It is always good to hear a first hand account, especially when the reviews are mixed.

By the way Aglarelen I love watching your avatar. Something about the speed and the motion just makes me feel heady. When they put on those CSI jumpsuits, do you think they take of their pants? Maybe I just want that to be true.
