No news from Dorka :(

*points to Nim's icon*
And I LOVE yours, Orison. Great colors! :D

Porn is the password to the Carmine's Lair

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

Nim, I'm still trippin' over that picture. It's been like, 2 days and I can't get over it! I really wanna know who took that picture so I can send the flowers to show my appreciation.

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

Maybe Carmine did some commercial for clothing... who knows... but he looks great there :D

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

It shall be the Squee Heard 'Round the World if one of us gets ahold of a magazine that has him featured in a clothing ad looking like that. Calvin Klein should hire him to do underwear and jeans. Say it with me: GOLDMINE. :D

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

GOLDMINE
Yeah, underwear...

I'm searching through the net, but the name of the pic is "hot as hell", so I think it's not the real name of the pic   even if it IS hot!

What good is this thread without some photos:

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

Man, the look on his face in the last one... priceless. How could you NOT love this man???

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

The Chicago Sun Times asked readers to own up to their TV boyfriends (here I thought I was the only one with TV boyfriends!!!) and Carmine was mentioned. Warrick was mentioned too.

Unfortunately I didn't know about the column so I didn't get to contribute to the article.

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

^ I just posted about that in the Locker Room. Looks as if we're not the only ones who maintain the man as a fantasy boyfriend. Curiously, the news item was submitted to this site by our very own jkladis -- a Chicago area resident. Hmmmmm ... something smells fishy to me. Do you think it was jkladis' man love that earned Carmine that honor?

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

^^ Lol possibly. I think anyone who's willing to bear and grin it in Carmine's bushes for a couple months deserves a shout out somewhere.

Jkladis' dedication knows no bounds.

But I'm happy Carmine was mentioned. I realized he was good looking and entertaining to watch on screen, but these little mentions and awards make me wonder just how popular the guy really is.

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

^ I always love seeing him make any kind of sexy poll and get mentioned in little pieces like this. However, to be honest, part of his lure is that undiscovered diamond in the rough kind of thing. I'd hate to see him become the next Brad Pitt or anything along those lines. ... I mean, if that's what he wants, I'd be happy for him, but as a fan I find that freakishly huge level of celebrity a bit off-putting.

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

^ Oh of course. I like the little recognitions here and there, but part of his large appeal to me was that he was an undiscovered diamond. Now, I'm happy to share the Carmine love, but I think I would lose interest if he becomes the next Brad Pitt. Great for him if he attains that kind of status, and then I'm sure he'll never complain of being lonely again.

But it always surprises me simply because if I casually mention the name Carmine Giovinazzo, I tend to get a blank stare and a, "Who's that?"

Ah well, congrats Carmine for being considered a TV boyfriend, someone lovely to stare at for 47 minutes. :)

No kidding! I don't have a friend on this planet who knows who the hell my little TV crush is. Not a one of them have ever heard of him. Poor girls don't know what they're missing. But I like it that way. Where's the originality in a Brad Pitt crush? *yawns at the thought*

Re: Carmine/Danny #12: "Ya like that?"

True. That's why when a celebrity becomes BIG -- let's say because he's found a break in movie and becomes Hollywood royalty -- the talent actually comes second only to the fame/looks/exposure. I can say that there are a lot of A-list celebrities who are mediocre in talent and hasn't done a considerably GOOD movie in three or so years.

As for CArmine, idk, I love his every performance. Of course, the looks factor has something to do with it. But he seems to give it his all whenever there's a dramatic scene, badcop sequence.. the likes.
