Capture the Flag, CSI style

Jim sat in one of the chairs in the break. He couldn't believe that Sophia, one of his own Detectives could hide what that were going to be doing from him espically.

((Warrick already called in. It's up somewhere in hollie's posts.))

Nick walked over to Brass and took a seat next to him. "Any suspicions of what this might be?" The Texan asked, looking around at the dayshift and nightshift crowd.

Sophia looked at the Graveteam and said, "Everyone here?" She then looked at the dayteam and said, "Everyone here?"

Ashley looked at her sister and said, "Everyone is here, spill it."

Sophia looked at both teams and said, "Both shifts will be playing a little capture the flag. Ashley, Jim. I need both of your shields and cuffs in this box." She then turned to the CSI's and said, "Yoru ID's in this box. You may take you guns with you."

Ashley and Jim did as they were told and waited for the CSI's to finish.

"Capture the flag..?" Nick mumbled. He obeyed Sophia's orders and pulled out his ID, tossing it into the box. "No ID's, but we're allowed to keep out guns? Can you explain that for me?"

Warrick slowly put his ID into the box. He was a little conserned about the "you may take your guns with you" rule.

Jessica sat there, a little confused. "What the heck would we need our guns for, but not our IDs. Its not like we are going to go out shooting people" She said, and then added wearily "Is it?"

Greg was excited, he used to love playing capture the flag when he was younger. "I think that guns are to warn people that they are getting near the flag, or else to stop them from getting the flag." He said jokingly.

If you were to ask her for the truth, Kirsten Foster would have told you that she had no problem with keeping her gun. It had always been by her side, saving her skin on a few occations. Though, the fact that they were allowed to keep the weapon, and not their IDs was a question high on her mind. The woman tossed the ID into the box that Sofia had gestured to, and stepped back.

Sara really couldn't care less about whether they kept their IDs and guns or not. Therefore, she placed her ID in the box, and looked around the room once more...Wasn't there someone missing?

Sophia looked at her watch and said, "I guess you all will find out in about an hour." She said as she left the break room with the ID's.

Jessica looked around at the rest of the people, the crowd was buzzing. She wanted to know what was up with the guns and ID, along with what seemed like, everyone else.

Greg was excited. He was never into sports, but capture the flag was fun. It involved sneeking around and tricking people, just a few of his favorite past times. He knew what he had to do to win was sweet talk some of the people from the day shift. He walked up to Adelle. "I've always hate sports." he said, trying to use reverse pyschology and make her think he didn't know much about it.

Grissom was skeptical. Since Ecklie was no longer by his side, he decided he could risk asking.
"May I ask why we are doing this?"

Riley turned to Greg. "Really? Because you look like you played some sports in your day." she said as she squeazed his arm a bit. "I threw the javelin, and I played soccer in high school." she told him, revealing a little bit of her past to him, and anyone else in earshot. "You look like a runner, you're skinny, almost as skinny as me." she said with a laugh.

While Nick was waiting for the vans to arrive he fiddled around with his gun, making sure he had a full magazine for whatever the hell they were going to do. He played a few sports in high school, but beyond that, he didn't end up doing much. Was going to the gym sometimes an acception?

Sophia walked back in and said, "Those 2 CSI's that are taking their guns along with Det. Ashley Curis and Capt. Brass, leave your magazines here. You will not need them out there." Sophia was about to leave when he said, "In 2 minutes, everyone needs to face the wall. You will be blindfolded and led to your van."

Ashley looked at Jim as she took the magazines that ere extra off her body and out of her gun. 'What the hell is going on now?' She thought.
