"Bump and Grind" Discussion **SPOILERS**

I don't think the crime board has changed since the pilot, except for the removal of the names of people who left. I can't remember which other episodes it was seen in, but the part that was seen in the pilot is identical in Bump and Grind.

On creep-show Haskell and sending the note and included the kidney bean. Lets say someone stabbed you and you lost a body part your kidney, had to use a cane..and the one who did this sent you a reminder of that horrific act. Would you laugh or get angry?:klingon: I totally related to his anger. This guy is a psycho from the crazy ward, and Ray is trying to get over this, but he still gets a constant "I know where you are" message. I think his mail should be censored and filtered and they shouldn't let him receive any correspondence from this snake:mad:

I was actually reminded of this time when I got in a fight with some creepy kid from school...he knocked my filling out then gave it to me the next day just to taunt me. It was one of those situations where you either had to see the sick humour in it or get mad all over again, so I took the more peaceful former route.

I agree with Raynn, if they're going to ruin one of my favourite serial killers by overusing him I might as well see the fun in his twisted little mind.

I just wish they would end it instead of ruin his character by dragging him out...they did that fairly well with the Miniature Killer, and with Millander (though I could have done without Ghost Town) so I don't see why they have to continue with this increasingly boring Ray/Haskell storyline, especially when they've already done a whole other serial kiler/Ray arc.

Why is Haskell even being allowed to send mail in the first place? I'm sorry, but as many people as he's killed, he should not have that privilege. And he should definitely not be allowed to send mail to one of his surviving victims.

I agree. Haskell is done so they should put him behind already. Tho I know it's horrible I found the kidney bean to be slightly amusing...

Well, there was a recent story about a convict who murdered his wife, snuck an iPhone into the pokey, and was maintaining a Facebook page, where he brazenly displayed his "status" as "Widowed," and trying to befriend his wife's family. :wtf:

Sara talked about baseball! And what does that reminds us of? Yes, the scene when she and Grissom talked about sport and he likes baseball because it's a beautiful sport (and since when is he interested in beauty, e? *g*)
Yes, when you're married to pick up the interests of your spouse... (I think she mentioned that in season 10 already once)
So nice, some GSR

Damn, it still can't watch the episode. On-demand just have a problem and I usually don't record CSI because it's on on-demand! Online? Nah! CBS player sucks. The video quality gives me a headache. :scream: My laptop or connection isn't the problem because ABC and NBC shows are in high-quality here.

Good to see all your comments.

I can say i enjoyed the episode, not sure about the case but the visual effects were cool, especially the thing with Cath and Doc. The ear in the soup scene was also cool. Well not cool but cool. You know what i mean :p

The creepy Nate came back with a mail to scare Ray? Some possible Ray angst for the future? I take it as a scene like that only to show Ray isn't totally over it yet.
On the other hand Nick was in a good mood totally opposite of previous weeks. That's it? Nick is totally ok?
Cath was also in a good mood. Love makes a good affect on her.

I like Hodges-Greg banter, nice to see them working together. Hodges called him G. and Greg is ok with it . They are always funny together. Poor fuuny Greg for being identity theft victim but i should say Greg, none of CSIs, shouldn't be a person who trusts a web like that on the internet , i don't get it. So maybe this story will lead something else but personally i guess the Greg part of the case is just a comedic material.

Actually not only Greg-Hodges this week, i agree all the other banters are going great this season.
And Archie came back. Nice surprise!

Exactly, I wondered the same thing.. how does he get away with this? Once again they need to censor and filter his out going mail.. I sure know that if a freak like him tried to kill me, and I almost died I sure wouldn't want to recieve any correspondence from them:klingon: I know that the writers are going to continue with this story line, cause' apparently we don't know the whole story. Why is he taunting and torturing Ray? I'm sure they've got something riveting up their sleeves.. We had to see Natalie again after she was committed, so guess we have to endure this creep till it's over, or he's over:cardie:

I thought the episode was a little bit confusing  but I understood the whole episode, thanks to Catherine and Ray's recap scene. It worked for me. The secretary was suspicous because she was focused too much on her first scene.

Overall good episode.

Except for the unnecessary torture scene at the beginning (which turned out to be overkill to the plot) this was a pretty good episode.

Very funny moments involving Hodges and Greg (and Nick too)

Nice having Nick and Greg on the case, speaking of Nick that scene with Cath reminded me of the scene in Grissom's office in Daddy's little girl - so is Nick's mental health once again being swept under the rug??? How can anyone go through what he has over the yrs and still keep his sanity? Oh yeah, Nick is strong.

Also Sara, Greg and 'H' playing rock -paper-scissors to decide who gets what job was pretty funny too.

Ray getting sent a kidney bean was a nice touch!

And poor Greg! I could see that coming from a mile away. Let that be a lesson to all of us -trust no one

No, I don't think that's what they're doing. Other spoilers have indicated that
the recent traumatic events in Nick's life are going to affect him throughout this season. I think they're are setting him up for something.
At least I hope so!! :)

That's the same impression i got Smokey, i took nick and catherine's interaction in this episode as a sign of things to come. I thought nick had a bit of a cavalier 'devil may care' attitude, i hope they continue this storyline as you can guarantee George will do a great job with it.

As for the kidney bean scene, i have to admit i laughed out loud, the 'xo nate' was a nice touch, as though langston and haskell are good friends exchanging pleasantries. A nice contrast with the tense interactions that these two have actually shared.

Nice comedic touches to the episode, loved catherines revenge on hodges at the end, brass's 'i'll be you' interogation was pure class.

Count me among those who at first thought the letter was from Ray's wife and that she was in prison. Still could happen. Never know. Maybe that's how Haskell has his "in" with Ray.

I was just glad to see Archie! :p

I thought that whole scene where Ray opened that letter from Haskell and the bean feel out was really creepy!

It really seems like Nick's past of getting trapped in that box and waht happened last season is starting to affect him. It sounds like to me he does need therapy because he keeps saying he is ok, usually that means something is wrong.
