GRISSOM AND HIS TEAM INVESTIGATE TWO MURDERS THAT TAKE PLACE AT THE ANNUAL BULL RIDING RODEO IN LAS VEGAS. - The CSIs investigate two murders during the annual bull riding rodeo in Vegas that may be connected to illegal bull breeding, in the last new episode until the writers strike ends. - Brendan Wayne, the grandson of John Wayne, Ty Murray, professional rodeo cowboy, actress Nicole Sullivan and country music singer Shooter Jennings guest star. Singer Jewel makes a cameo appearance performing the national anthem.

I'm excited to see Jewel and Ty Murray in this ep. Sall be a good one to watch. But sad as it's the last new one for a long time.
 
It's depressing to think that there won't be any new episodes on the horizon for a long time. Even if the writers strike broke tomorrow, it would be some time before they could finalize a script and film a new episode.
 
I saw a cool commercial for this episode tonight. Anyone have a link to a promo?
 
When does an actor in the 'guest cast' finally make it to the 'recurring cast' list? What are the criteria here. Is it something to do with their contracts?

Just wondering if an when Liz Vassey makes that jump up the listings!
 
Yeah I personally think after this episode season 8 is over. I just do not see the writers strike ending in enough time to get anymore episodes, if we do it might just be one or two more.

I think it has to do with their contracts, when they go from guest cast to recurring cast.
 
Do you think there will be more of Warrick and Gedda in this epi? It's a shame that this season might not get finished seein a there are so many loose ends to tie up. Unless they carry it on to next season?
 
Is it possible that if the strike is resolved reasonably soon that they may just extend the season into the summer?

Still looking for that "Bull" promo. :)
 
I was thinking that, but then season 9 would be out of whack as well and they would probably never get back on track. Anyways, I'm hoping we'll see a good dose of all characters and not just Warrick and Grissom!
