Bones #3: To Resist Is Futile

I set the show up to record at my grandma's house Thursday, but the power must have went out because the show cut off after Walter told the girl she was beautiful and she leaned down to kiss him.

What did I miss? Did he find Brennan's medal?

Yes he found Brennan's medal. Didn't show how. You missed a lot but it's all about finding a treasure in a sunken ship. The episode was really good. I think it would be a good show.

I was actually really not impressed by the new characters and what would be the new show. I couldn't get past the girl's accent and the "finder" character I just found unbelievable and kind of corny. I really wouldn't watch the new show. Since most of the show was focused on that I didn't enjoy it and quite missed the regulars.

I didn't like the new characters and I think I'm not going to watch the show at all, even though I think Michael Clark Duncan is awesome, the show didn't do anything for me :( When I heard there was going to be a spin-off I thought it was going to be more like Bones :(

The lead guy is Geoff Stults I think, the brother of George Stults who played Lucy Camden's hubby Kevin on 7th Heaven.

Is the girl with the accent Saffron Burrows? It kind of looked like her, but I'm not sure if it was her or not LOL.

I know we should have one more Sniper episode to go. Has anyone heard if TBTB are still going for the sniper to kill one of the interns plot twist?

Just saw the last episode and I have to say it was a vast improvement over the one before. Hodgins and Angela's storyline was believable and sweet. I really liked the conversation they had about being afraid for the baby.

I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times and really wanting Booth and Brennan to finally do something more about their feelings. There should be a kiss before the season ends ;).

Finally got to see all of the episode. It was good. Wendell's honesty thing got kind of irritating after a while lol. Glad Cam put a stop to it. I hope everything goes well with Angela and Jack's baby. Loved B&B's discussion at the end about the clown lol.

When Wendell was mentioning how all the other interns didn't need the job, I wonder why he left Clark out.

I was glad to see a prediction of mine pay off in last night's episode (Hodgins will go crazy when the baby comes) and as for next week

It looks like TPTB have decided to kill off a squintern, probably Nigel Murray (at least, if he's the one who spouts off random facts at the drop of a hat). Also, to explain Brennan's pregnancy, I think TPTB went for Booth comforting Brennan after the intern's death and they end up having unprotected sex.

Just saw the latest Bones episode and I think it's probably my favorite episode so far. I like that there was a twist with the person actually being alive. I also liked how Bones was so affected by what the girl went through and how she related to it. I also thought the girl did an amazing job.

After watching the promo I agree with Elayne about Booth comforting Brennan and ending up having sex. I think it's very possible. Especially after Brennan's line in last night's episode about "being the only one without a child". Yep, I think they'll be writing it in.

I hope they don't kill off Vincent Nigel-Murrary. I was thinking it would be Wendell because he's the one who got the job last week. I like the idea of B&B having comfort sex, even though its a little soapy lol.

Just watched the preview. Vincent is in next week's episode, but they make it sound like next week isn't the finale and that the finale is the one where someone will be killed... so it could be anyone. When they were showing Jacob with his gun, they showed all the MAIN characters, none of the squinterns. So, logically, the only one they could kill and get away with out of the main would be Sweets or possibly Cam. I would hate that though. And it would totally suck if they brought Zach back only to kill him. If it has to be one of the squinterns, I'd rather it be Daisy. They could tie that in nicely with it affecting Bones. Seeing Lance torn apart by his love's death could make Brennan realize how she would have felt if that bullet had hit its intended target (Booth)... which could prompt the sex.

Didn't see the ep last night. Forgot to record it in the other room. I'll have to wait to get the tape from my grandma who recorded it for my dad.

Man, I watched Vampire Diaries and cried through half of it. Then I cried through the ending of this week's Bones. These shows are killing me! :p Great ep, and one of my faves this season. :)

In spoiler code just in case... Emily D. short interview about her pregnancy.

Ever since Emily Deschanel’s pregnancy was announced in March, Bones fans have been wondering how her fall due date will affect the show. Now that the Fox drama has finally received a season 7 pickup, that’s something producers are in the process of deciding — both in terms of story and production schedule. “I imagine that you’re gonna see Brennan behind a microscope a lot next season. I think there’s gonna be a lot of close-ups of Brennan. I said I’d work though my hiatus, but we didn’t have a pick up until now, and they have to write before we shoot. It’s a whole situation,” Deschanel tells EW, with a laugh. “They have to see how long it takes them to write episodes. I think we’ll have our normal schedule starting in July or something, but I don’t know. We just had an email about that [yesterday]. Like, ‘We don’t know… but these are possibilities.”

The bigger question for viewers, of course, is whether Brennan will become pregnant as well. “I don’t know. I feel like that would change things so much,” she says. “I am not gonna say no — never say never, I guess — but I think it’s unlikely. But only time will tell … How to address [my pregnancy] is a hard thing. I threw them a curveball personally, but you know, that’s life.”

Here's who I predict
Wendell

------

So much for my powers of deduction. But I really thought there'd be more interns wandering around for this episode.
