I think that Kelly Clarkson's "Addicted" is good. Like even though Grissom hurts her, she still loves him.

Forensicsgirl, do you/were you ever into Dawson's Creek? Know slightly off-topic, just asking cause several of your song choices scream DC to me. Got into lots of artists through that show!

Agree with all the songs mentioned that i know, especially 'Iris'. What about 'Acoustic # 3' or 'slide' in the right moments? Could imagine 'Slide' being about how Grissom feels about Sara, and his own behaviour with her in the past. Anyone agree? Here are the lyrics for those of you who don't know it:

Hey Columbia! I was kinda into Dawson's Creek in that I watched it, but it wasn't a big obsession for me like Buffy was and CSI is. I don't think I got any of my song ideas from the Creek, but you're right, some of them are pretty DC (wouldn't it have been cool if they'd used lots and lots of Ani DiFranco songs in that show? She gets so under-used...) (I'd like to add that I sailed in the Joey/Pacey-ship, and how happy was I that it was that ship that sailed and the HMS Dawson sank - can I pickem or can I pickem - bodes well for GSR ;) )

Anyway, back on topic, and I will continue in my quest to make every single Ani DiFranco song relevant to GSR... :lol:

Everytime I listen to 'Loom' I can't help but think of Grissom and how much he holds back:

Hi all,

First of all, I also think "the Scientist" by Coldplay is a great song for Grissom. He is a scientist, for one thing:) And especially when it says:

"come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry, you don't know how lovely you are, I had to find you, tell you I need you, tell you I set you apart..." so correct:)

I always associate Dido's White Flag with Sara. Especially the first four lines, where it says, "I know you think that I shouldn't still love you, or tell you that". In general, it seems to go with Sara's apologetic tone about her feelings. Awesome song. Here are the lyrics :)

I see many agree that Kelly Clarkson must be channeling GSR or something because seriously the whole album could be one long angst fest for them. Hehe. But rather than repost what's already been said, what about a little Damien Rice? Hoping this hasn't been repeated already.
