Best Sara/Grissom song

Hi pleasantlynumb, I didn't know that song--I'll check it out, the lyrics sound nice. I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think "by your side" by Sade would be a good GSR song. It's a woman who sings it but for me it would be from Grissom's perspective and I think it fits the period with Sara's personal problems very well. Here are the lyrics (it even says, "I'll find you, darling, I'll bring you home:)):

Hi, grisslybear. I love Sade! And I love that song! I can just picture playing in the background during Nesting Dolls, or something. :)

Pleasantlynumb, I went ahead and listened to the song. I think it'd be a good GSR song, thanks for posting it here, especially I like where it says

"What I am to you is not what you mean to me
You give me miles and miles of mountains
And I'll ask for the sea" , from Sara's perspective.

It also might have a nice link to Grissom vs. the Volcano :)
 
Perhaps this is too corny, and out of character...but I think some of it can be salvaged. There are parts that do resonate just minus all the crying because I don't think Grissom cries.

Wow, the lyrics to that one are nice, pleasantlynumb. Especially "the honesty's too much" because Grissom is so scared of his own feelings. I've also found a lot of songs recently that are so GSR, and here is one. I saw this partially used in a video somewhere, the song is very nice, it would be from Grissom's pov--I love where it says: "out of the doubt that fills my mind, I finally find, you and I collide" and "I found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind". Would make such a great video, I can picture it all but I unfortunately don't know how to make it...Here are the lyrics:

I was sitting listening to my Portishead album (as I do often when I'm writing) and I remembered how much 'Glory Box' reminds me of GSR - it plays at the beginning of 'Chaos Theory' in season 2 and ever since then, it's reminded me of them...

I can't seem to get GSR off my mind, though my thoughts have been angsty lately. The new Sheryl Crow one, I think is pretty good, in that I think you can guess who the song's about without me telling you. ...Although, I suppose it could be for the both of them. ;)
