Ely, Nev...A dog that ran off during a road-trip rest stop in north-central Nevada apparently made it's way nearly 80 miles across the high desert and 2 mountain ranges to return home a week later:eek: Moon a Siberian husky, was reunited on April 14, with it's owner Doug Dashiell, who had last saw her on April 6 near Railroad Valley, a distance later clocked at 80 miles. Moon, who is nearly 2 years old, was no worse for the wear, except stinking like a skunk, which probably sprayed her. "I've had trouble with he running off before said Dashiell, and she always returned. But this time he was really worried when so much time had passed". He had taken his 3 dogs on a weekend trip to Tonopah. When he let them out to do their business, Moon took of running and chasing he thinks, was a rabbit. She bolted off in the sagebrush, and looked for her 2 hours and couldn't find her. He then went to the Duckwater Shoshone Indian Reservation and called tribal police, but they searched and found of trace of Moon. The out ot the clear blue, on 4/14, the white Pine Veterinary Clinic phoned Dashiell to let him know that Moon was back in town. She had wandrered on a Ely street and a resident ALvin Molea found her, took her home and fed her. He called the clinic, and they found her tag and called her master! AHHH, how cool is this story?

Oldsmar, Florida.. And some people get jittery about mice in their kitchen:eek: Authorities says a 69-year-old woman fond an 8-ft. alligator slithering around on her kitchen floor late Monday night. Sandra Frosti says the gator must have pushed through the back porch screen door and then went inside through a sliding glass door at ther home in Oldsmar, just north of Tampa. It then strolled hrough the living room, down a hall and into her kitchen. An Animal Control employee removed the alligator and was cut, when a plate crashed to the floor and part of it hit him in his arm. He tasered and removed it, no one in the home was hurt!
