Danny smiled and nodded a bit. "We'll always be here for ya.. Just comes to askin' for help or for someone to keep ya company," he said with a light shrug, wincing a bit when he did that.

Mac nodded. "Thanks. I really appreciate it." He then smiled a little again. "I'm not sure I wanna know what Hawkes is gonna try to do when he finds out. Him and Hammerbeck seem to like giving advice even though all their patients are dead"

Stella finally got out of her seat and went into Macs room. "Hey" she said as she walked in to find Danny. "oh hey Danny." she added.

(lol they suck major mine was massive like something wanted to come out my skull kept pounding and oh it was horrible..scary eh? I think i feel another one coming on grrrr i have explorer meeting tonite can't miss it)

"Hey" Mac said. "I got surprised, was waiting for you to come in and heard familiar voices behind the curtain. Turned out it was Danny and Lindsey."

Aiden winked at him, and leaned more into the kiss, and deepened it, and ran her fingers over the side of his lips, then down his neck.

"Hey Stella. Don't mind me, Mac and I are swapping 'war stories' as it were," Danny smiled lightly before looking back to Mac. "Hawkes and Hammerback are an interesting pair when it comes to advice. Some is worth listening to, but then again.." He shrugged.

"On the other hand, having a medic-type in the field is handy in a crisis..." Mac said. "Speaking of the field, that's what's going to drive me absolutely insane...if this is cancer, the months of chemo will mean a long work break. And if it's something like epilepsy..." He sighed. "I don't know how I'll handle it if I can never be a cop in the field again. It's my life. And I can't stand being chained to a desk, either."

Danny thought about this for a moment, frowning. "Well, one of two things can happen. You can become a forensics consultant, doomed to live your days mulling over cold cases till you're needed. We can drag you back into work kickin' and screamin', granted you won't exactly have your same position in the job. Or you can stop worryin' till you find out what the heck you have," he said, wondering if Mac would catch his mistake about saying 'two things' where he really listed off three.

"That was three, but I guess the last one is probably best...see what the tests show and *then* start worrying, so I don't go insane before I know the facts."

"Good, you are still paying attention," Danny smiled a bit. "If it isn't too bold of me to say, Mac.. If you keep stressing yourself out over worrying, you might have another ceasure, last possibly being worse than the first."

"Good point" he nodded. "I better just relax...easier said than done for a workaholic but I'll do my best." He knew any siezure could cause brain damage and he wanted to avoid it.
(I'll let him have an exchange or two with Stel before the doctors take him away)
