Ohhh i like both ideas now! hahaha. Decisions decisions.
I do like the idea of getting help on icons. I've had so much help and so many ideas just from this board and I've only been here a nanosecond.
Suggestions and tips would be great. Either one I'd want to take part as I want to improve on PSP.

After much thought, I've decided to give the beginners/advanced level idea a whirl.

I will do this with icon challenge #11, which will go up on Sunday. Please note carefully what will change:

- you will be able to enter at one of two different levels: beginner or advanced. I'm trusting you can all think for yourselves which category you should enter for.

- I will provide 5 different screencaps for you all to choose from, instead of just one. Please note, you will all choose from the same 5 screencaps whether you are entering the beginners or advanced level (i.e. I won't provide a different batch for each category).

- you will be able to enter up to 3 icons, but you must use a different cap for each one.

When you send in your entries, please help Ducky by:

1) Stating which level you are entering, either in the subject of the message or in the message itself.

2) If you decide to enter more than 1 icon, please try to send them altogether in one PM.

I'll leave this stickied until the new icon challenge goes up on Sunday, just so everyone can read what will be changed and be prepared for it.

Any questions, please PM me or put them here :) If I see this idea doesn't work out, I'll look into setting up a LIMS for beginners only.

When pming enties is it ok just to send the link to the image.

I only ask for the sheer fact that I can't seem to figure out how to post an image?
I'm using imageshack but it seems no matter what code I copy and paste it it doesn't work.

I dont want to give some the hassle of rehosting the image. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong.
Will it be a problem with entering?

^ I think you have to have 100 posts before you can post images, but don't worry, I'm sure links will be just fine ;)

i've got a question though. but about the LIMS. i'd like to sign up, but i think it's way too late to do that. is there any way i can do it, or if not, how much do i have to wait for the new LIMS?

^ We're not doing the LIMS just yet - I'm going to give the beginners/advanced idea a go first, and if it doesn't work out, I'll think about setting up the LIMS ;)

Cool looking forward to Sunday's images.
How long will we get to make the Icons?
Beginners like me might need a goof bit of time hahaha ;)

So it's ok to send links to enter rather than images then?

You'll get a week (until Saturday) to get your entries in, and yes, links to your icons are fine :)

Okay, this is cool. I don't know whether I am beginner or advanced. hem. Well I will make the icon and THEN decide, I think ;) I think this is a great opportunity, wibs! Yay.
And can I just say? Your tag has me sitting here cracking up. Ducky, you meanie! Stop oppressing wibble! Don't make me get out my penguins.. :lol:
