Hi guys!!!!:)

Here's an idea from the Italian team.
In "All In" Emily was great, but we knew it, didn't we?
She is always great. Her performance was nothing less than spectacular and this isn't the first time. So why hasn't she ever got an award ?
So we've asked our selves....can we do something to let this happen?
We think most of you could help with some ideas...how can we let know the important award accademies that we want emily to get something after so much wonderful job?
Let's do teamwork fans! Let's put together some ideas!

We even found the way they use to nominate, but I think we will need the help of all the american fans because, of course

How are nominees chosen?
Potential nominees for THE 34TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS were compiled with the help of Knowledge Networks, a leading market research company along with members of the People's Choice Community. Knowledge Networks used its consumer research resources, which include the only projectable, web-based, nationally representative panel to identify a pop culture-involved sample of men and women ages 18-49. For each category, the respondents were provided with a set of candidates determined by national ratings averages, box-office grosses and music sales. The respondents then chose their favorites in Television, Movies and Music. They also had the option to write in their favorites where not included among the provided candidates. Their top three selections in each category became the final nominees. From pca website.

I`m from Europe, so I can`t vote :( If I can do anything, just ask. Emily deserves as many awards as she can get.

mmm. . . I live in the states, and I'll see what I can do to vote b/c I'm only 17, maybe I'll get my parents to do it for me! or wait till I turn 18, but I agree, Emily deserves an award or at least be nominated. She has shown her great acting throughout all the seasons of CSI: Miami, but especially this season. I'll spread the word around here to my friends!

That's what the sight is for. Just let me know if I can add anything else and I will. I believe Emily is a under-appreciated actress. I walk around all year with an 'Emily Procter deserves and Emmy' button. So you can count on me for help.

Great stuff ladies - let's all vote for her from here since our neighbors across the pond can't vote. Perhaps someone who knows where to look can find the address of the production company to make sure they know to send out the Emmy DVD for her for consideration. We'll back her for that, too!

I voted as well. I'll put the link up on my Livejournal and send the link to everyone I know. PCA is a wonderful award and Emily definitely deserves it.

Also, like the NY forum did some time ago, is try to get Carmine an Emmy--by mailing CBS to submit episodes for consideration. I don't see why the same can't be done for Emily. (And HoratioStalker mentioned it as well :D) The Emmys will be held September 6th 2008 and the second deadline for submissions is approaching. As far as I've read, there's a re-application after the second deadline so I'm not sure if companies can submit actors/actresses/shows whathaveyou at that time if they already haven't. At any rate, writing to CBS may push them to submit Emily and the episodes for the next year's Emmys.

To write to them, you can use one of two options. You can submit a Feedback Form via the CBS website or you can pen them a letter at this address:

This might make it easier for the non US/Canada fans to let CBS know what you think!

What exactly should you include in your message if you so choose to send one?

-Ask CBS to submit 'All In' (or the applicable episode for next year's Emmys--I'm sure Emily will have a few episodes next season that show off her wonderful talent) for Emmy consideration and why.
-Tell CBS why the episode(s) and actress deserve the Emmy--be descriptive! The devil's in the details.
-Ask CBS to spend more advertising funds to support Emily and let them know why. Why does she stand out among the rest of the cast and other shows' casts?
-Make sure the letter is void of netspeak and other immature diction that could lower the credibility of your message. I'm sure CBS wouldn't appreciate thousands of "ZOMMG!!1111!111 EMilY FTW! Srsly, fo shizzle ma lizzle plz." ;)

Also, spread the word to family and friends and other boards/sites you frequent--without spamming up the world. We definitely won't get enough participation on this site alone and it would be a bit silly for CBS to see hundreds of e-mails from just TalkCSI. :lol: Yeah, we're nerds and we love our Emily but so does a lot of other people from other places.

Hopefully this helps to get things going and it would help to get the PCA link out to as many folks as you can too. :)

Obviously it will be done:thumbsup:. Yeah Emily really deserves an award.

Well, it was mostly HoratioStalker's idea, I just developped on it. :D Plus, maybe it'll get people to wear buttons like Lambchop has, heh.
