FIRST STEP MADE: As you all can see in CSIfiles (link) Emily has been submitted to be considered for the Emmy award for her performance in All in. That doesn't mean she will be nominated but who are we not to be happy?

Congrats to Emily. :D I surely hope this means she'll be nominated! She definitely deserves it. Just being submitted is a huge step in the right direction to getting her an award for her hard work.

Emily gets a submission every year. So does everyone else in the cast. Plus a episode or two. That is the process for the Emmy’s.

Unless you are a part of the committee, there is nothing you can do. The committee chooses who will be nominated. After that, it is put up for everyone that is eligible to vote.

So there really is nothing, as a fan, you can do to influence the out come. That is, unless you want to buy an ad for the Hollywood Reporter and other industry magazines to call attention to Emily's performance. But they aren't cheap.:(

So we have to wait, and we will wait...Nominations will be released on July 17th at 5 am (Los Angeles Time Zone). Finger crossed?;)

I know this is a double post, but I have a little news.....

Checked four different industry magazines today and nothing for Emily!:scream:

There is one Ad, and only one Ad, for the entire show, but no individual ones for any CSI Miami Cast member. I am still looking, it is kinda early yet.
