a great guy.. Hodges

i hated what tarantino did to hodges, to all of the characters actually.
he made them act very....unlike them

You know, I absolutely loved Grave Danger, but I can totally see where you're coming from here (especially with Warrick's little story involving Tina - that was straight from a Tarantino template and it didn't really suit him).

However, I loved loved loved the scene with Greg and Hodges, and also the fact that Hodges got to save the day.

Loves him. :)

anyway, so hodges i thought needed to stay a jerk.
the dukes of hazzard scene seemed weird to me, because i always thought that there was a little bit of a rivalry.

I LIKE MEAN HODGES. i dont want him to turn into the next greg. i want greg to stay being greg, i want hodges to stay being mean. but maybe thats just me?

*Chatty. Chatty. Chatty*

I have the next few hours to start a Hodges club site.

And Hodges is good-looking, in his own special way.

I believe the writers have this story template in mind where there has to be a main lab tech who's a general friend to all of the CSIs and also provides the comic relief. Now that Greg was moved out of that slot into that of a CSI, they needed someone to take over that role, so they gave it to Hodges. Unfortunately for Greg, they now have no idea what to do with his character. All the other CSIs had (and still have) their various dramas and traumas to deal with, while all Greg had was his training to become a CSI. Now that he's a full-fledged CSI, his part is pretty much over--all he'll do is participate in processing evidence, if even that much. Maybe he'll get to lighten up a bit and be more humorous again, but the role of comic relief definitely belongs to Hodges now.
