    My take is that Nick doesn't know Catherine has been demoted. Maybe he comes straight from where ever he was and goes directly the crime scene, thus not even talking to anyone.

    Since he seems to be confused as to what is going on. If he knew Catherine was demoted he would know there was a new supervisor and that is DB. At least it seems like that.

    I found this on All About Marg. It's a scan of the Sept. 19th - 25th TV Guide.

    We're starting 4 months later and according to the caption on the picture DB has only been there for a couple of weeks. Which means that Nick has been gone for at least a couple of weeks. They're also promissing us that Langston will be resolved in episode 1!

    There's a 'Where we left off' section as well as 'What's Next', 'Better Off Ted' and 'The Goodbye Girl'.

    Thanks for posting that Blackflag, I gave up my tv guide subscription a long time ago.

    If it's 4 months later, hopefully Nick hasn't been out of the loop the whole time, and just recently missed meeting D.B. when he started. I definitely hope Nick tells us where he's been :p

    I'm not really excited that it seems like Langston will get a happier ending out of all of this either, but I guess I'll try and reserve judgement until we see how it plays out.

    Okay, human/octopus sex has me shaking my head, but overall I am looking forward to see how this is gonna go. I hope the vibe is better with D.B. than Langston.

    I think DB will make a better addition to the team than Langston. For some reason, everything I've read about him seems to fit with the team's dynamics. Can't wait to see how the premiere goes! :)

    Well, dolphins have been known to mate, well, try to mate with humans, so why not Octopuses? :shifty::shifty:

    Maybe the person was born with extra appendages. ;) Or extra hands. ;)
