okay so I'm listening to my Practical Magic cd and a few of the songs remind me of Snicker (some angsty)
but one totally stands out as one that reminds me of how Nick must feel in the situation I wont post the WHOLE song because I posted it in the song thread already (and this is not the thread for that) but heres a little sneak peek at it

are we still talking about what show or movie that reminds us of snickers. for me dawns creek but i ship joey and pacey. joey is like sara in a way she cant get really into thing and she can get lost in her own little world. pacey is like nick a hunk and easy going and goes for what he wants and play the overly protected friend and flirt with her. like nick and sara tease each other and can see through each other.

*laughs* Cocoa Girl the Kate and Leopold Movie just prooves my point that just about all of Meg Ryans movies could be quite Snickery (but then again the same can be said about Sandra Bullocks movies)

any way, I was thinking of other ships that are like our Snickers and I thought of 'Phil Of The Future' (yes kiddie show but can be pretty funny) and Phil and Keelys relationship is very snickers, they act just like it, always flirting, hanging out, liking each other but not letting the other know it...
and i did the Make a word out of a bunch of other words thing and I put in 'Nick'+'Sara'+'Ship' (something like that) and one of the words it created was 'Snickers'!!
Yeah I'm yapping, I'm just in a good mood... right before i go to bed... I'm crazy what can i say *shrug* :lol:
and I keep seeing Snickers ads on Spike TV, and there new (or old I can never remember) is: 'Snickers: it Satisfies' and they do don't they?

Btw, are we still talking about movies? I don't know if I mentioned this before but in The Notebook, the characters there sort of match Nick and Sara also. Girl is kinda reserved, guy teaches her to have fun.

i can see nick as noah, but i can't see sara as allie. purely for the simple fact that allie is more free-spirited, in my opinion. however the idea of their relationship is definitely a 'notebook'-esque one.

Yeah, I love the movie, but not entirely Snickers. Although I like the idea of them growing old together and Nick taking care of Sara.
Another movie that I think can pass for Snickers is "Someone like you", with Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman. Basically, her character (Jane) decides to find scientific reason why men can't stay with one woman, while his character (Eddie) sleeps around to heal his wounds...
And of course there's cute banter between them.

okay, so the characters are not really fitting but Scarlet pines for a man, one she can never have while there's Rhett who loves her and even after he finally marries Scarlett she's still in love with the other men.
