I actually agree with you there Katie I do see Danny and Lindsey as being like Nick and Sara and they do forshadow both couples alot (yet people ship Lindsey with Mac like people ship Sara with Grissom)
I"d also say that when Aiden was around it was alot like Sara and Greg

Isnt Greg adorable? I mean I dont think that Greg would be good with Sara, but he is sweet, and I think he would make a great bridesmaid for Sara and Nick's wedding. Jk Jk. :devil: Seriously though, Greg is you-make-me-want-to-hug-you material, but I think he is waiting for that special someone whom he feels he can be himself around and I dont think he has found her yet. Ok that was slightly off-topic so....
Wait a minute, people ship Mac and Lindsay?:confused: Never considered them a couple before...always saw Mac as a dad type figure to all of them (except Stella). Its kind of starting to hit me how similar all three CSI's are...Im definitley going to go find someone to talk to about that. lol, ok but can anyone recommend a good snicker ff? I havent read many yet, so any recommendations would be awesome!

I'm still in my Snicker hiatus after writing a trilogy ... whew. It's on FF.net, tell me if you guys are interested in reading them. But I love reading Snickers, so bring em over!

You know, they were really competitive with each other in the beginning, but they've grown into friendship and maybe sometime (hopefully soon) they'll progress into a relationship.

I agree with that one! This has been a topic before and I think it was Misery who pointed it out. Like Harry and Sally, Nick and Sara can talk about anything cause they're not afraid to show each other their true personality. They know the other would accept them for who they are.

Oh, yeah, that's right. I remeber that conversation. I wrote down several quotes from that movie that are perfect for Snickers:

And the cool thing is that the personalities matches perfectly...
Nick/Harry: wears heart on sleeve, funny, romantic
Sara/Sally: headstrong, closed up emotionally

I feel you guys on the When Harry Met Sally stuff.

It's my favorite romantic comedy EVER, just the dynamic between the two of them and the way the fall into their friendship and ultimately their relationship in almost a complete accident.

I think it's the reason why we're all taken with Snickers and so adamant about its eventual success:

They're relationship is just too classic

The Chemistry. The Dynamic. The Reactions and the Teamwork. All of it screams something out of a Turner Classic Movie. They're just so old fashioned and sweet.

Ooh Classicfilms hu? oh yeah they are vary classic, like Cary Grant and... some actress he was in a movie with :lol:

any way, I love my Snickers, there the first ship i really went for and am rooting for all the way... like Brazil in Soccor ;)

The reasons i love them as fallows:

I love that there named after a candy bar :D

both of them are likable

I love my Nicky/George (thats a plus, wouldn't ship it if were another actor playing Nick) ;)

I can relate to Sara from fashon since to temper, to views on life.

There hot!!!

George and Jorja have great chemistry :D

They make each other laugh :)

They never really argue

Nick is Sara's rock

Sara is Nick's rock

He only gave her Nick names :D

He's always talking about her when she's not there

She knows where she is

the ship makes you feel good, not angsty or mad

She touches Nick more then any other person on the show

they stand way to close for no reason at all (I bet he smells really good :eek: )

and the number one reason i like Snickers....
She holds up lace teddys for only him :lol:

I know the last one is silly but come on :D

I'm with you on the When Harry Met Sally movie
really Most of Meg Ryans movies have reminded me of Snicker in some way or another
lets see "Sleepless in Seattle" the guy is all sweet but to afraid to meet the girl of his dreams So his son and his sons friend set the whole thing up MEANWHILE the Girl is tired of waiting so she settles for the guy she's with only to realize the man she's looking for is waiting for her at the top of the Empire state building ,He doesnt show but then Later on he does and VOILA they kiss and great chemistry (okay so Nick doesnt have a Son BUT the whole settling for the Man she's with because the man she really loves hasnt asked her out yet and when he finally realizes he needs to HE thinks its to late part can SO FIT)
I dont think "you've got Mail" would fit very well because Nick isnt a Jerky Business Man BUT Later on when they get to know eachother and they become friends Yet they are emailing eachother and dont know it I could see THAT aspect
Another Great movie relationship that I can kind of see as Snicker is Alex and Isabelle from Fools Rush in
really though its like someone said earlier Snicker is such a great couple You can relate it to ANY ship out there

but its TRUE though I mean You look at any great ship be it from a movie or a tv show HECK even real life and You can relate it to Snicker
for instance My Friend Heather has a relationship (the guy and her arent dating yet but they both want to and they both deny it) thats similiar to the way Snicker is now I keep telling her that and she laughs at me
One of my Sisters and her husband also reminds me of Snicker
(the other one is more or less Grillow Like)
its because they have Chemistry ,thier relationship is MORE realistic
You see two Bestfriends becoming Lovers (and have things in common) MORE then you see the Supervisor/father figure dating a subordinate (I wont get into that but Most of you know How I feel)
I guess thats why I have so much faith in our ship and the thought that it WILL Happen someday

Of course it will happen. Because, if it doesn't, I'm pretty sure it will be the second most frustrating non-relationship to ever grace pop culture.

Of course, number one in my opinion is still Duckie and Andie from Pretty in Pink . Seriously...it's like the epitome of what we don't want Snickers to turn out. I still ignore the ending of that movie, since John Hughes had to change it to "fit in with the audience".

Bleh....there's nothing I hate more than changing what IS right to something that LOOKS right but still totally isn't.

But...then again, I'm just rambling, because Snickers will happen. Of that, I am sure.

well Like I said earlier Snicker is ALOT like Chandler and Monica it was forshadowed countlessly so many times yet people STILL kept saying it wont happen and the Ross and Rachel shippers (who sometimes I liken to Grillows) were the Worst but then when Richard came along the Monica and Richard shippers kept saying THOSE two would get Married
then in the end it was Chandler and Monica it took us awhile to get it but we got it
thats How I see Snicker being as much as we all do not like GSR we may have to sit through it for awhile till we get to Our ship (Grissom being like Richard) In the end its our ship that will Prevail and Our ship that will still be around when the show goes off the air
