    Melina Kanakaredes Leaves CSI: NY

After being disappointed time after time during last season, I had my doubts. I didn't know if I should watch next season's premiere or if I should stop watching the show altogether. I must thank CBS, my doubts have magically vanished! Goodbye, CSI:NY! BTW, Hill Harper confirms the news at...

    Grade 'Vacation Getaway'

Why oh why don't killers take Ziva David's simple approach to murder more often? I can't recall the exact words, but it was something like "If you want to kill someone, you knock on their door, they open and you shoot them." Wise words. There was so much fail in this episode I can't be...

Finally, an episode I do enjoy! My biggest complain? The promo gave too much away.

    Grade 'Tales from the Undercard'

Remaining as spoilers-free as possible seems to be working. I found the episode entertaining. Not the best thing ever, but quite decent. The body in concrete reminded me a bit of a NCIS episode and a bit of Star Wars. Then it all turned into Fight Club with cameras and the Internet. Some things...

    Grade 'Redemptio'

I was expecting a bunch of crap and that's exactly what I got. The episode was a lame excuse to get some supposedly juicy stuff: -Hawkes had a sister nobody knew about and who was older than him. He get younger every year, just like Stella. -Got your badge stolen? Who cares! It's not like it's...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire Thanks, Perl! "My name is Sheldon Hawkes, you killed my sister, prepare to die!" Roxi, I noticed too. I don't think it's a coincidence.

Grade 'Rest in Peace, Marina Garito'

*bangs her head against desk* Come on! This was just wrong. A extremely slow-paced episode containing nothing but coincidences and lucky guesses. Whatever. Not plot twists, no thrills, no surprises, nada! Stella being a victim to some brute, how original! Marina's monologues made me yawn. No...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire So, no love for our Sheldon and Peyton's back. Oh, right. Of course, who cares about Sheldon or anyone that's not Mac for that matter? There's Mac and then, there's this couple who, I think, were married. But it doesn't...

    Grade 'Pot of Gold'

Same here. I sometimes feel they're just reading the script. Simple case with no frills, no twists and no surprises. Nothing horribly complicated, nothing really interesting. Solid and simple, not memorable. I found the number 39 & number 40 thing corny as hell, but I can live with that...

    Grade 'Uncertainty Rules'

I quite liked this one, it wasn't your average NY episode with filthy rich bimbos everywhere. Some things were too obvious from the beginning, some were totally unrealistic, but it was not bad at all. It wouldn't have stood out particularly in any other season, though.

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire Thanks a lot for the promo, Perl! As for the shippers' battle, I'll just quote Danny: same old, same old. It's not gonna be Stella, I'm sure of that because it would unbalance the show and piss off lots of viewers and TPTB...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire Looks good. Thanks, Faylinn! I recently watched a movie about a prison riot that got me in awe. I know better than to expect half the awesomeness, but I hope this episode is better than the rest of season 6 so far. Of...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire Personally, I would have liked to see Adam driving the real thing and forgetting about Playstation. Lindsay would have made sense too. Stella? Not that much. It was just a cheap source of Smacked bonding moments.

Mac <3 Stella #19 - I won't give up if you dont give up.

WTF?! 47+49+6=102! Maths fail! *is outraged* As I told Deb via MSN the other day, I'm losing faith in the show, Smacked included. Right now, I'd rather they remain friends. They will for now, because, ahem... spoilers & stuff. However, I wish in the long run the writers could actually depict...

    Grade 'Sanguine Love'

B+ Carmine did a very good job with this one. No Mary Sues around, no Super!Danny rescuing anyone. The ankh thing brought me back to when I would play "Vampire: The Masquerade" and got me thinking a Caitiff had killed the poor thing *feels geeky* Apart from that, the vampire thing was exotic...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire City

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire *facepalm* I ship Smacked, but I swear I will start throwing things if there's the slightest hint of the corny, fanfiction-y "noooooooooooooooo! Don't die, I wuvs you!!1!oneoneone" scene. I agree with you, I'm curious about...
