How Much is Gas Where you Live?

Okay, I just redid my previous calculation that I did for those of you in America working in US dollars and Gallons. Originally it came out at $7.99 per gallon. Today in the UK, it's now $8.50 per gallon - and that was using one of the lowest prices around! Using one of the more expensive...

    The British and Irish Thread

Late arrival to this thread! Not been on here for a while now - Uni took over somewhat... I am EnglishScottishWelsh for anyone who is interested :D As for reality TV shows, YEUK! I am so fed up with them, feels like it's all we have on at the moment, more desperate people trying to be famous...

How Much is Gas Where you Live?

Too much is my only feeling :( Costs me £1.06 per litre, which (after some quick maths) works out at $7.99 a US gallon - it's just not fair :scream: edited to add = and that's pretty cheap fuel over here!

1 and two bits! English because it's the one I grew up with! And a bit of French and German from when I did them at school... Must brush up on my French in the next year though :)

    Original CSI Opening Theme?

I have a program here that can record the audio for you and I think it will be okay if you only want it for a ringtone. :) I can do it after work today, do you have a lot of space on your phone or would you like me to make it a small filesize?

Welcome to General TV & Media! Please introduce yourself!

Re: Welcome to General TV & Media! I've already introduced myself in the LV section, but I'll pop a few lines in here too: Hello! My real name is Nicola, but you can shorten it to Nic, or Loops if you like. I'm in the UK, and apart from CSI I love watching other UK murder mysteries like Morse...

    Kingdom Hospital

Does anyone else remember this one? It was a Stephen King creation, I had forgotten all about it until something reminded me of it a few months ago, so I went and looked it up. It came out in 2004 I think... I just remember it being a really really weird show to watch, spooky but with some...

What Are You Reading? - #2

I just finished reading two books today, one Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot) called Mrs McGinty's Dead - I love Agatha Christie, and other murder mysteries like Sherlock Holmes too. Also read a Rom-Com type book called The First Wives Club, all about three women who are friends having to...

    The International Thread

Wow, there are more people from Europe than I expected - I thought North America was going to have the most members! Anyone here from Canada? I'm planning to go travelling over there for a year some time and it would be cool to have people to meet up with as I go!

    The photos of the day!

Amy: + The colours are really bright, and its so sharp, you can pick out all the details! - There's almost too much colour with the butterfly and the purple flower, they detract from each other. I have several photos of mine that I'm proud of - here's the first one for your comments, "Sunny...

    What's better C.S.I. / C.S.I. NY or C.S.I. Miami

CSI:LV is still my favourite, although I am really getting into CSI:Miami now as LV is getting a bit same-ish after so many episodes! Really not a fan of CSI:NY, as some of the storylines and events are a bit far-fetched ("You Only Die Once" with that car and the dodgy 3D animation when it...

*New* How old are all CSI fans?

I just turned 21 in March, but I've been watching CSI since I was about 14 and first found it on channel5 :D

Who would you want to save your life?

Hmmm - if it was a real danger situation I think I'd want Horatio to save me, because he's all calm and collected and would probably be able to stop me panicking! If it was a *cough*engineered* rescue situation, i think I would hope Greg would turn up ;)

Welcome To The LV Forum, Please Introduce Yourself!

*mwahahahaha* I quite agree :D It's even better now we're not weeks behind the US and always waiting to see the latest episode that they've already got to see! Szmile - I'm another Greg fan :D

CSI Season 8 - UK Thread

*lalalalala* I'm not reading anything about what's happened in the latest episode as I only just got hold of it and haven't seen it yet (our TV signal is pathetic and snowy, so for important programs I get them from other sources ;) ) Sounds like it was a good one though :D

Welcome To The LV Forum, Please Introduce Yourself!

I joined here a little while back during the writers strikes, when I was having CSI withdrawal! But I am a happy happy bunny again because I notice they are back :D Are these virtual snacks also gluten free? I hope so, cos they look tasty. *wipes feet and steps in* p.s. I'm another UK member ;)

How old are all CSI fans?

I'm about to turn 21 this month - I think I first discovered CSI when I was about 16 or so. Channel 5 had started showing CSI, I used to go over to my dads house once a week (as we couldn't get it at my mums house - still can't!) and watch all the ones he'd recorded for me that week late into...
