Oh, I definitely agree that Danny was completely passive in this episode, and that it was bothersome that we saw no emotional reaction from him. For me, that was always the most interesting part of any given Danny episode--seeing how he reacted emotionally. The character has been done no favors...

With regards to Lindsay's interference in the first scene with IAB, I have to throw this out there: would anyone have issues with the scene if the positions had been reversed? If Lindsay had been clocked in the head and had her gun used in a shooting and then IAB had come after her to question...

Well, to be fair, I think to some extent, Danny has always been something of an incompetent five year old. He's just been a bit more active or at least emotive in previous episodes. But Danny has always needed other people to save him--it's just usually been Flack or Mac in the past. It makes...

I have to say, I really had high hopes for this one. Danny used to be an interesting and dynamic character, and this seemed to be an episode with potential to have a lot of great continuity. My beef with the episode isn't Lindsay. Oh, Anna Belknap still can't act--I've never seen anyone flatter...

OMG, that was NUTS. OK, the idea that Horatio could get up with a gunshot wound, jump in the ocean and save Natalia--maybe, just maybe I could buy an adrenaline rush. Maybe. But that he somehow managed to walk around for the whole episode, wheezing and sputtering... come on. That's ridiculous...

I liked the flashbacks to 9/11, though I wish we could have found out what happened to Claire that day. I guess it's fitting that, like Mac, we don't know, though. Loved seeing how Danny and Flack met on 9/11, and how the short meeting really showcased each of their personalities well--and set...

That's not too bad for Friday night. The demo isn't great, but again... it's Friday night. 10 million viewers is pretty good.

I love that CBS has started putting deleted scenes on their DVD sets this year. I hope we get to see lots of them! I hear the Hawaii 5-0 set has deleted scenes for almost every episode. I hope that's the case here!

Thanks to PA for reviving this thread! :D These two are great, and while there was more to talk about between them pre-season 5/6 or so, there's still a lot there. The subtext is totally fun. Subtextually, it's mostly all Flack--if there's something there, it's probably unrequited. :/...
