I'd say LV, because the writing/way they handle characters is consistently better than in Miami and NY. I love all three, but Miami tends to bounce off into these absolutely mad places to the point where you go..."wtf?!". Horatio seemingly have the ability to disappear into thin air being a case...

The Evidence. I guess it sank in a sea of crime shows, but I really like it. I have all eight(?) episodes that were shown, but I'm forever curious if more than eight were made, and if they'll ever see the light of day?

Just because a person realises what is and isn't acceptable in terms of work, and they "mature", does not mean they need a full personality transplant. Where's the sark? The bitching? We could have had Danny fly off the handle less but still have him complain about stuff, or make stupid remarks...

Carrie - I don't know if it helps, but I felt the same way as you at the end of series 2. So I stopped watching it, and only started after they'd shown something like fourteen episodes of the new series. It's actually a lot better than series 2, but I still have my criticisms and I'm nowhere...

The problem, I think we discussed at the time, was that they didn't seem to now what the hell Lindsay needed to be, and the writers seemed to be throwing the character round all over the place in order to make viewers like her. She's fresh and new! She's light and fluffy! She's tough and...

There's not really a lot of "think" about it, it's almost certain Lindsay's "going back to Montana" bit was thought up as a reaction to Anna's pregnancy. The fact it contradicts with a lot of Lindsay's earlier behaviour shows no respect for continuity and smacks of thoughtlessness.

...which is rather the crux of the thing, is it not? Sadly I'm not quite so optimistic about them actually managing that, considering how they've dealt with things up til now.

The general purpose of a "must go" thread, if we're working off the Lindsay one, was a discussion about why that character is weak and what could be done to remedy it. I think I pretty much voted for anything that wasn't season 2. Season three got a special mention because the cases have been superb, and Shane Casey goes down in history as my favourite serial killer in a CSI series. That case was SUPERB. Series three also has Peyton and Sid. I do miss Marty...
