I watched most of last night's episode, which was the pilot for the proposed spin-off. The spin-off has some potential but it didn't make me all warm and fuzzy. I think the scene explaining why the hero-to-be may be so good at finding things turned me off the character.

I coming out of semi-lurk mode to point out that the last time Cath and Heather interacted (TGTBATD), Cath was less than pleased with both Heather and Grissom. Also, why should Sara have a problem with Heather now -- Grissom tracked Sara down in the jungle, leaving Heather behind in Las Vegas. :)

You know, reading these spoilers, I think it's a real shame Grissom isn't here to investigate Ecklie.:devil: I guess Sara will just have to take up the slack for him.

I totally agree with you on the subject of Heather's return. I can just see Heather showing up as a witness. She and Sara get along fine, stunning the rest of the lab. I forsee great opportunities for Hodges Foot-In-Mouth Disease attacking several characters.:)
