Was Danny abused as a child?

Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to take something big on Mac's part to get Danny to realize he can trust him. Mac being (or nearly being) physical with his abuser would go a long way towards getting Danny to realize that he can trust someone.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Good to know. I've enjoyed reading your other stuff. I really liked Identity Crisis. I've been meaning to ask- has anyone else here read Lexie(BJ) Jones' Sylum Clan series?

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Khanada ,well, I had to ask. To me , you need to do one more to resolve where they are going with their relationship.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Khanada, just read "Hangin' Around-part 2". Another great job. :) Are you planning this to be a series?

Was Danny abused as a child?

Here's a thought - Mac does something that Danny interprets as a threat and flinches. Mac realizes what it means, but is so surprised that he doesn't say anything. Later, Daddy Messer shows up and Mac sees how Danny reacts to him and realizes that this is Danny's abuser. Mac gets between them to...

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

I love the idea of Danny speaking Italian. I would care if he was happy or mad as hell. Either would sound good to me!!!

Was Danny abused as a child?

adder574, I really like your idea of something happening to Danny at a crime scene because the cops don't repond to his call for help. Mac might not be happy with Danny, but he would be so pissed at those cops letting one of his people get hurt. I also think something will happen with Daddy...

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Man, I don't check this thread for a few hours and I come back to find 84 posts to read. Not that I mind- it was hysterical. I watched "in Enemy Hands" tonight. It was a good movie. I was pleasantly surprised. :)

Grade Season One of CSI: NY

I gave it an A. For a freshman show that is part of a franchise, it did well to establish itself as something unique. It has a good solid cast and has done better with being more character driven than CSI or CSI:Miami.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Hi all!! Just wanted to say that was a very nice picture of wet Danny. That's one of my favorite scenes of his.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

I liked Learning Curve. But like Kanada said, the end sucks big time!!!

Was Danny abused as a child?

I'm with csifeline, I don't think Mac handled that situation well. Mac wants Danny to respect him and his decisions, but disrespects Danny by publically chewing him out. Not very effective management there.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Thanks for the welcome. Hey Khanada, I read on the MesserandFlack livejournal that you are working on a third Danny/Flack story, taking place the next day. When can we expect to see it? I don't mean to pester, but I loved your other stories and am looking forward to another installment.

The Locker Room--All Carmine, All The Time

Hey, this is my first time posting in this thread. I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to sign up so I could post. I just had to say that I love coming to the Locker Room because you all just crack me up. I haven't spent too much money on my Carmine obsession yet(picked up a used...

Was Danny abused as a child?

I really enjoy reading this thread. All the ideas I read start my mind going with all sorts of ideas. :) So here are a few more ideas that you all inspired: 1. What if Danny testified against the Tanglewood Boys? He probably got involved with the Boys to get away from things at home and maybe...

Was Danny abused as a child?

I've been reading the posts lately and have ahd a few thoughts: 1. Negative attention is still attention. If the only time a child gets any attention from a parent is when he/she misbehaves, then the child might misbehave just to get some attention. 2. I'm thinking it was probably Danny's dad...

Was Danny abused as a child?

Now, I don't see this as being a calm sitdown chat. I think that if Mac pulled Danny in and asked him what was going on, Danny would just say,"Nothing." I think this would be a lock the door and put away the breakables sitdown. I also think that Mac is going to have to know what is going on...

Was Danny abused as a child?

CSIFELINE, I think what Mac would say would depend on the situation. If Danny was directly confronted with his abuser(the person turns up on a case), Mac would probably tell him to look at it from the standpoint of a CSI and try to gather evidence against the person. He would tell him that while...

Was Danny abused as a child?

I think this sort of situation would be something the whole team would wind up dealing with, in one way or another. Mac would be the steady presence, the rock, the one who Danny would be able to put his trust in without fear of being betrayed. Not that the others would betray him, but he'd have...
