CBS youtube channel put a new sneak peek of the season premiere of Csi miami and it's about Hiphuggers !!!!! :p i was so happy when i saw it ..
Here 's the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n5-rGirQdo

They are so CUTTTTEEEEEE .. i cant wait for the premiere
6 DAYS LEFT!!!!

OMG that was so cute! Eric was totally checking her out, poor Calleigh was like what?? Eric looks hot and Calleigh looks gorgeous. Never get involved with someone on the job, that ship has sailed ;)

Hey Ya'll :)

I know I have been MIA as of late, and I'm sad about Adam, but I have faith in the ship, hopefully tptb will make it all right, and Adam will return every so often, hopefully they keep the two together :)

I meen I was a fan of Snickers (Nick and Sara) and well that never happend  but I saw a promo for the new season, and there in a scene togehter, and it just made my day :)

so I think HipHuggers will be ok... well it better be, I'm still reeling about Adam...

Ok Peace Out

Hey TV Guide Mega Buzz interviewed Adam....

Since CSI: Miami's Adam Rodriguez is joining Ugly Betty, that cliff-hanger must not have worked out very well for Eric Delko, huh? — Jimmy
ADAM: Oh, ye of little faith, Jimmy. Eric Delko may be wandering around the Florida Everglades, but he's definitely still alive and even has a little more story to tell. "I didn't want to leave it on that note; I felt that would be cheating the fans," Rodriguez tells me. As a result, he'll appear in seven more episodes to give Delko a proper send-off. And for all you Calleighko 'shippers, yes, they will get closure.

Now the only queston is; what kind of closure are we looking at? the good kind or the bad kind?

That clip was really cute....Eric was totally checking her out and Calleigh was totallt stammering over what to say. She definately had a little trouble getting the I don't get involved with people I work with line out. :D Not totally what I expected but still it was cute ;)

I think that line was more meant to be a "see I (Eric Delko) proved you wrong....I got your number in the end" ;) Not to mention that Cal's reservation in season 5 about "them" was that they work together so I think this was done more to establish that and play off the little attraction they had when they met. He was obviously a player and she knew it and was telling him to "take it down a notch"

It could either way, the ship could sail or it could stay afloat....Like I said regarding the Mega Buzz interview; the question remains, what will our closure be? Good or bad?

IDK but why do I still have this nagging feeling that there is another bombshell waiting to be revealed in the wings? :shifty:

Besides the news of Adam's departure from the show, there's only one other that would qualify as a bombshell for me: that'd be Emily's departure. There's nothing else that could happen in that show to shock me in any way, cause none of the other characters interest me enough to affect me. And if that were to happen ( Emily leaving), it would be the end of CSIM for me.

And, oh yeah, the scene in the sneak peak was cute, but I was expecting a bit more... Maybe it's not a complete one, and there are parts that were cut out to fit the time frame. I certainly hope so...

And the Mega Buzz certainly confirms what I wrote in my last post:
WE HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF E/C YET!

All I have to say is awwwwww :adore:
I loved my E/C moment....I wonder how soon we get that moment. I love how Eric eventually proved her wrong. Loved how he was checking her out and I loved how she was tripping all over herself just like oh wow, I can't believe this just happened. My heart jumped a little when he was like you can call me Eric...I was like you can call him yours... LOL

Well I hope that we do get a good closure between these two...like babies or a wedding or both. I am going to try and be optimistic here and hope for the best. We deserve it, and so do they.

:)ahhh!!! only 6 days left!! cant wait!:)

That was a such a cute scene, I was smiling all the way through the video!!
I love it how Calleigh said that she wont even socialise with people who she works with let along a relationship...and Eric proved her WRONG!!

when I first read the mega buz interview I thought 'closure' is good closure!! Just the way the interview was phrase and all. like
he'll appear in seven more episodes to give Delko a proper send-off. And for all you Calleighko 'shippers, yes, they will get closure.
he was specifically telling us hiphugers that we will get closure so I am guessing he meant, yes you will get your lovy dovy scenes.
I was losing hope for this season but after that cute little sneak peak and the interview I think we will have our happy ending before Adam leaves!!:)

Well that is just it.....From the spoiler hints you gave us .....
IA episode: she is his former girlfriend and exit episode ....they stand face to face but a world apart
It seems to go sour. If I had some news pointed in another direction I wouldn´t be so sceptical and might even have hope left. But who knows and what does previous writting on show tell us?

I am curious as to why you feel another bombshell on the horizon? Are u hinted at ??????

D&Daddict I have given it some thought as to showing fans -base feelings as to Eric and Calleigh. If the special sneak preview is the most viewed clip ....That should get showrunners a hint as to that the fan-base wants....

So for every hiphugger out there. Now is the time to get your family and friends to look at the clip so we can "warn"/help  the producers as the direction of storyline.....Now see is that not optimistic:)! This is the time for hiphuggers to make a stand.....and if show goes downhill ....nobody can´t say there was no warning.

More dirt on Adam's departure and some possible E/C info....

Question: CSI: Miami scoop, please! —Jordan
Ausiello:
Delko was originally going to turn up dead in the season premiere. It’s true! When Adam Rodriguez failed to come to terms on a new contract over the summer, CBS allegedly recommended that producers simply write it in that Delko didn’t survive last May’s cliffhanger. “But I wasn’t comfortable with that,” says Rodriguez. “And I spoke to [exec producer] Ann Donahue and she wasn’t comfortable about this either; we really wanted to make sure that the character had a proper sendoff. So she petitioned CBS to make this work.” Now Rodriguez will return for a total of 10 episodes (not the seven I reported last week), during which he’ll change professions and sort out his complicated relationship with Calleigh. “Like any great love story, I don’t know that the books will ever be closed on them,” says Rodriguez of Calleighko. Housekeeping note: Rodriguez has shot three of his 10 Miami episodes so far. He’ll juggle the remaining seven with his five-episode arc on Ugly Betty.

Remind me never to work for CBS :guffaw:

hopefully however the writers decide to "leave" E/C off at the end of the season...obviously it hasn't been fully decided yet b/c they are probably only working on 808 right now....it will somewhat positive for us. I think at this point, all we can hope for is the "somewhat positive" and the door being left half open this way should Adam make an appearance or two in season 9 things might continue for our couple.

Goodday Hiphuggerclan

Well.....How to begin.

For me -IMO - the drama is created by doing a "Gone with the wind". Leaving hope and fans wanting more. ...Is that not a saying by the way? Leave them wanting more.

It all boils down to:

Scenario 1: I don´t love anymore - bye. What drama or ratings would that ending produce? And/or do to fans of character;).
Scenario 2. I love you but am leaving because I can´t trust you or you don´t trust me. Ratings?
Scenerio 3. I love you and will be waiting at home.

Present day exampel: Rachel and David Swimmer(what was his character:guffaw::guffaw:God I must be aging:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:.). They knew the storyline paid off and had them re - unit in the most rushed and boring way. It took x amount of scene for a storyline they spend years building.

As a fan of hiphuggerstoryline......I am so disappointed and to some extent I wish they hadn´t gone there is the first place. As this storyline will be add to Calleighcharacter and make Eric leave as - his new self- whatever that might be??

Might I say unresolved or unexplainded not just as hiphugger but as character on the show???. I am espeically NOT loking forward to Nat and Call. conversation. Thoose girls should have a chance to talk to "new and leaving" Eric as friends, ex collegues and exgirlfriends. IMO.

And as fan of the show .....Why hype a storyline and then let it go sour like that. I will probadly forever wonder.....In writers or showrunnerclass they probably never heard of build - up and pay - off in storytelling.

Hey, for once I was right !
1) I said "... according to Adam's twitters... " he had to have 7 more episodes to go, and, apparently, that's actually the case :)
2) I said " ...Based on the recent spoilers... IMO... we haven't seen the last of E/C yet..." and Adam just confirmed that ;)
3) A few weeks ago, when we were discussing the new thread name, I called the E/C relationship " A GREAT LOVE STORY! ", which is exactly how Adam referred to it :luvlove:
Not too bad!
Now, I'd like to predict ( crossing my fingers ) that maybe by the end of season 8 both parties will sit down & renegociate/ reconsider the contract, and we'll have Adam back for next season! Anything's possible, right? Make a wish everybody :guffaw:!

Btw I do love your avatar and location. I belive CHEAR has one avatar I am really really jealous of.....gotta love that one. If you are in a spelltellingmood please correct farevelscene while you´r at it.
I do hope that he will return as a regular but how often does that happen:(. And would he return after the way he was forced to "use" Ann Donahue just for character to get a desent farvel. Which isn´t even ok by hiphuggerstandart?

I have so little faith in the CSI:M writers, especially because they seem to have this penchant for Super H & His Dysfunctional Family episodes that just irritates the heck out of me, but I do have hope that they will leave E/C together when Adam leaves at the end of the season, or whenever it is during the season. I mean, he won't be working for the MDPD, so there isn't that pesky fraternization rule to get in the way, and we all know he loves Calleigh and has for a long time - its not like they can turn that love off. They may labor under a misunderstanding when the season begins (with her thinking he lied to her about talking to his dad and him thinking she doesn't trust him), but I maintain that underneath all that, they still love each other and won't be able to let go of that. Besides, if they really intended to end E/C, I doubt they would have brought up the attraction between them in the flashback to 1997.

So... while I'm finding it hard to get excited about the premiere simply because I feel it won't end well for E/C (given spoilers for 8.03 and 8.05), I do still hold out hope that when all is said and done, Eric and Calleigh will be together... Cal working at the crime lab of course, and Eric working somewhere else, making the occasional appearance... you know, like when they get married and when Calleigh has their first baby ;).

Thanks for posting this!

I find it comforting that Adam believes E/C is not over. And I'm relieved that he didn't want it to end with him dead and was at least able to come to an agreement with CBS to do a few more eps and keep Delko alive. Thank you Ann Donahue!

This may be silly, but my hope is that by the end of the season, Eric and Calleigh will be back together. As messy as things appear to be based on the spoilers, there is no way these two don't love each other enough to fight for their relationship.

And, another silly thought, I'd love to see Eric make an appearance mid-way through Season 9 and have it be implied that he and Calleigh got married. I would so love to see Ryan say "Hey man, where have you been? We haven't hung out since your wedding!" And then Eric could make a quip like "I'm a stay-at-home-husband now! I cook and clean and raise the kids. I mean pets." Then Ryan could respond with something like "I knew I should've gotten you a frilly pink apron as a wedding present!"

I don't know who works in cbs, but they are even more stupid than I thought. How could you treat someone who has worked so hard for you for 7 long years in such a nasty way. But considering Rory and Khandi's departure it shouldn't be surprising I guess.:(
It seems that only reasonable person there is Ann Donahue.

As much as I'd love to see them getting married and having kids now I really don't believe in happy ending. I'm affraid they just leave it hanging in the air. Maybe there will be some conversation between E/C, but I don't think they resolve it completly. Unfortunately I guess it won't be happily ever after:(.

And after Adam's departure I'm not going to watch it anymore. I don't even know if I'll watch every episode of this season, because whithout E/C it's just not interesting enough for me.

I too have so little faith in these writers that something good or remotely good will come out this season. I mean thes writers seem to think what they write is the greatest stuff but everything they write gets the worst reviews and totally sucks. You gotta wonder who at the network reads this stuff and thinks it is marvelous? You'd think at a huge network like CBS someone would smack them and say WAKE UP!! But obviously that doesn't happen and this insanity continues.

As someone else said to me, I am beginning to wonder if Miami will be the first of the franchise set sail off the network? Cuz out of all of them this one, imo, is the weakest.
