Hmmm... advice? I use a website called picnik to make my icons. You can make up an account and get started on that. You just have to resize the pic you wish to be your icon to the requirements of this site which is no greater than 140 by 140 if I remember correctly, and then customize it the way you wish by adding text, effects etc.

Hope that helps  What about you Desert? Have you any advice?

As for another scene that is adorable, the scene in Strip Strangler when Grissom becomes protective over Sara, that was a lovely scene. Him guiding her from the store when she goes undercover *sigh*:adore: again so wonderful.

What about the "Grey hair can be very attractive." I thought that scene was priceless :D, the look on Grissom's face when Sara says that, it was funny and oh so sweet at the same time.:adore:

mayne you gotta love how subtle the GSR can be at times. The convo at the end with Cat was great, Griss is seem more to himself he has a lil swagger bag. Moreover, who peeped out when Griss walked into the private poker spot that they said "you're 2 year to late" So I guess we can imply that he had no need for gambling since he was with Sara. A little OT on a side note, I guess Griss past with gambling also helped him better understand Warrick's addiction.

Thank's everyone, and your wlecome HoneyBee my pleasure,;)and I thought "YMWAH" was awesome:thumbsup: Old Vegas and our hero David Rambo, I just e-mailed him and thanked him for this exciting ep. he's the best. it was called the Moulin Rouge not the Chateau Rouge, guess they can't use the real names, And Grissom playing poker, who knew and he played like a pro, how many other skeletons does he have in his closet? The reference to Cath while strolling down old Vegas blvd. and "he THOUGHT he loved a girl", interesting, of course he had past liaisons. But as he stated "Sara is the only one he ever LOVED" and how he came to Vegas to "play cards" WOW,in 9 years we never saw him gamble:eek: I wonder if Sara knew and was this before he went to San Francisco? and now "it's time to up the ante" meaning, a marriage and family with Sara. Here's some photos of that Casino, which recently had fire damage, but it still stands. The murder of the owner was bogus never happened, but the first "black" hotel/casino was accurate. While I lived there, I went over and looked at it,very eerie and sur-real, spooky so to speak, all boarded up, really old-fashoned for now-a-days, but I'll bet it was fantastic in it's hey-day~

MOULIN ROUGE

Hey, GSR fans how are you all and where are you all? Hope everyone is OKIE-DOKIE:thumbsup: and some other moments with them and so thrilling for us all, and knowing that they will be leaving together and then maybe come for a visit to see their team mates> I always liked that his co-worker Cath encourged him with Sara, the "are you in denial" so long ago, and sat and smiled when he ordered Sara a plant, then when in 'Lab Rats" she also said "go after her" and in "GDC" the deleted scene with Cath saying "How long have you and Sara been together"? so she's good with them, which is what a friend is for:)Some 'bedroom" scenes:drool:

I'M NOT READY TO SAY GOOD-BYE

LEAPIN' LIZARDS

FOR WARRICK

And special moments from S/1 up till "GBAGL"

Hey, not been on for a day or so, had some schoolwork to focus on

I love the friendship between Gil and Cath and the fact that she is the one that has encouraged him to pursue something with Sara all these years. Such a good friendship.

Love the pics Desert!! Such great scenes!

Does anyone know when we discuss new thread names? I know it may seem early but I would like to when we do :)

jeez, i haven't been on here in months. :wtf: i hope i'm still remembered! hehe.

MissSnowAngel, i may be wrong but i think that we're permitted to start discussion of new thread names after the 900th post .

i haven't been on in a while because i honestly don't know what to say. i don't at all know how i feel about the episodes we've been getting week to week, the only thing it's really told me is how it's going to end. i mean, yeah we'll probably get some delightful suprises along the way but really lets face it, we've all got about a 90% formed idea in our minds as to what the outcome will be, even for the spoiler-frees.

sorry for the slightly melancholy post. the aprox. 3 ft. of snow we've gotten in the past day has dimed my outlook on a couple things

Happy Holidays :adore:

Christmaswind:

Actually,we heard references to Grissom's poker playing in the episode where the old gambler constantly ate the equivalent of M&M's--I think they writers had to call them "choco-beads" instead. Remember, there was lead saturated in the the chocolate in the candy (because it was grown somewhere in Africa where leaded fuel was still used) and the guy slowly died from poisoning. This was also the episode where the "Visine" eye drops played a devious part some of the activities.

Anyway, Grissom and Warrick were analyzing the scene and it came out in conversation that Grissom is, in fact, a very good poker player.

However, we never knew he came to Vegas to supplement his income (to pay for his girlfriend and cadavers) by playing cards...

HoneyBee.

HoneyBee your correct, I forgot that, and he did say that, I wondered at the time when he was talking to Warrick about the "death card" how he knew that. sly fox isn't he? and JorjaFoxFan sorry about the snow, I can't imagine, it's 70 here but with gusty high winds, I have to take down all the wind chimes and plants so it's a drag but it's not COLD, build a snowman:lol:and don't be a stranger:( I saw ep. "Ending Happy" on SPIKE last night, a good one what a bunch of losers and low-lifes. Brass goes to Binky and Doris, "'I love you both":guffaw: but when Gil & Sara were walking and talking, and she asked him if he's ever paid for sex and his always quick reply [the guys got an answer for everything] He said "Sex without love is pointless, it makes you sad" Sara replys "I don't think I make you sad" he goes "NO YOU MAKE ME HAPPY:thumbsup: what other woman has he ever said that to? HMMM, no one except Sara

ENDING HAPPY

This was a stunning revelation in my new TV Guide that just arrived yesterday, and it's of all people talking about GSR, Melinda Clarke, who would have thought she'd say something so revealing and what a gracious lady to say this, when the interview was about her and her career:thumbsup:

Q You've also exercised power over Gil Grissom, through the years, as dominatrix Lady Heather on CSI. Any chance they'll ride off into the sunset together?
A "I haven't filmed any more episodes--I think that there was talk of it, but it didn't happen. THERE'S A TRUE DEEP LOVE AND PASSION BETWEEN SARA AND GIL, AND I THINK THAT'S WHAT'S ULTIMATELY MOTIVATING HIM"

yessss, indeed, how very cool of her and she's right on the money. She was his confidant, who he felt comfortable talking to her about Sara, and she's the one who knows how he really feels. Also as David Rambo said "They never loved each other" so reading between the lines she's telling all the fans that he's going to be with Sara:thumbsup:

LAB LOVE

Yes, it's after 900 posts. Here's a link to the thread titles rules just as a refresher for everybody. :)

ETA: Please keep in mind that while discussing thread titles, you still MUST have at least three lines of discussion about your ship. thanks

woo , i had it right  thanks for the reminder SantaFlack

okaay. i'm interested to see tonights episode, and a little saddened. this is the first of two "departure" eps for WP/GG so it should be intersting, right?
i strongly think that Sara will at the least be mentioned throughout the duration of this episode, as everybody has said a thousand times in interviews, she is involved :D

i'm also pretty psyched to see LF's character, he'll be fresh blood to the series and i think he'll do admirably. his character definitely sounds like something worth watching. not as good as Grissom might i add

xoxo ,

I hope your right JorjaFoxFan and she will be mentioned tonight, no one will ever replace Billy Petersen no one, no way.. and we have to wait till Jan. 15 to see her again, so what did all of you think about Melinda's remarks pertaining to GSR? pretty revealing plus kind and courteous of her to mention them like that. So, I'm thinking that in the last scene, in "LOATR" when he was laying on her bed, and asked her to stay he poured out his heart to her and spilled his guts about how much Sara meant to him, otherwise where did she get this from:eek:

Anyone else notice that tonight, when Haskell was saying that his female victims were no longer someone's daughter, sister, etc., the camera was cutting to all the women in the room, and then when he said "fiancee," they cut to Grissom? What are the implications behind THAT?! Just sharing how deep my obsession runs haha

the gods do not want me to watch this show! lol i wasn't on for me last night, i've missed a few episodes because of that now, CSI: Miami is on instead , followed by CSI: NY so i have no idea what's going on or happening :wtf: but i hope you all enjoyed it , and i'd love to hear anything GSR-y that may or may not have happened ?

Wow, not been here for a few days  Sorry for that m'dears, had a big test to do and study for. It happened today

Thanks SantaFlack for the info :bolian:

Any new info on the GSR front? I read that comment from Melinda Desert  Thanks for posting it. It is pretty revealing, and very good news hopefully.

I just saw the clip where Grissom said he was leaving. So sad I teared up :( Jan 15th seems so far away, and the cliff hanger style will make that wait much worse. Can't wait to see Jorja again :), she is supposed to be in episode 10 right?? Or at least rumored to be?

Hopefully we will get that ride into the sunset we've wanted for so long. It seems to be heading that way! Yay for GSR!!! :D
