One thing that annoys me the most...

2) Horatio Caine (sorry, but I can't stand the guy)

Don't worry I can't stand him or Mac (for that matter) either

No disrespect meant but I just got curious. What is it you don't like about them? I get Horatio, he has that effect on a lot of people lol. But Mac has me curious.

The thing that annoys me the most is that all the women in all three CSIs have absolutely screwed up personal lives. Sara is possibly the only one with a decent relationship at the moment and she went through all kinds of hell to get Gil (who really isn't even that good of a boyfriend honestly). Mac gets Peyton, Eric is a player, Warrick is married, but God forbid any of the girls even go out on a decent date! The last time Catherine tried that, the guy she talked to at the bar turned out to be a murder suspect! I really hated the way Grissom treated her for that by the way.
Come on, the women really, really need to catch a break.

Catherine has no luck with men at all. I actually like it better when she is single. I find when she gets involved with someone she doesn't spend as much time with Lindsey.

True, about the women. I don't know about Miami but there was Stella's nasty boyfriend Frankie on NY. Sara had Hank the Skank, Cath had bad luck several times...

Another thing that annoyed me was the scene (can't remember which episode) where Sara accidentally called Hank, "babe" at a crime scene. It seemed like she did it on purpose, kind of like she was trying to prove something to him.

I really dislike how the writers potray Sara's character sometimes. At the beginning they pit her against Cath, then Nick (for the the promotion) followed by Sofia and I'm sure there are plenty more. They made her into this jealous type of person, and that's not who she is at all.

When she called Hank babe, it felt forced. Oh, and Hank's another thing that annoyed me. Thank god he's gone.

How complicated and (usually) unhappy their lives outside the office are. Their pasts are a little strange. Either their mother killed their dad, or their brother's in a coma.

Would it kill them to be happy and spend a day at the park or something after work? Or an occasional date or something? It'll do them good; they'll be happier and when they're happier-- they would do their jobs better!!

Sara's character is right now, the happiest of the women I think. She's got Grissom. Whereas Cath is all on her lonesome. Calleigh from Miami had an ex who first threatened her with a gun and then blew his brains out in her lab! And even the new chick Valera has a creepy ex-husband. Stella's been assaulted and whatever is haunting Lindsay is keeping her from being happy with Danny. I think it's only a matter of time before Sophia's personal life is mucked up, seeing as how she's just been made permanent cast member this season. A purely normal moment would be nice sometimes.

Actually, the new chick with the creepy ex-husband is Natalia. Valera has been around for quite a while, we just don't see her much.

But I agree, it would be nice to have our Ladies be happy for a while.

Well I could (and sometimes do) complain on how they can use a security camera picture and get the sort of detail you were talking about. You may know about computers, but I know enough about film and the properties of digital picutre to know that unless the camera in question has a really high mp count you can only zoom in so far before you start to degrade your picture quality. So whenever they manage to make one small area and with a few clicks make it into a really clear and useable image I just shake my head... However, I go along with it, because I know why they are doing it...
Can't agree more... I work with computer graphics a lot and everytime I see Archie tweak something with the footage from security camera or something, I would just roll my eyes and go "Computer software like that exist? I want one!" Well you can't zoom in into raster images THAT MUCH before it got all pixelated/degraded... Obviously not even more than 50%. In CSI they make it look so easy... Like when they zoom in into a security camera and could use a software to make out even a writing on a piece of paper... Or maybe in the hi-tech world beyond my knowledge, the software do exist, who knows? Damn, I want one!

But I have another thought... maybe the messing with ISP is deliberate. They want to make a ISP that can't exist... have you ever noticed that most phone numbers on TV begin with 555? (Other then an area code that is) That way they don't accidently use a real life number... I think it was in the film "Bruce Almighty" they did use a number - one chose at random that was an real life number... and the person had a number of calls after that... It might be the same idea... they don't want use an ISP that might belong to someone...
I thought so too. Like all the websites used in CSI, I believe CBS bought the real domain (and then link it to CBS official site) to protect in case the real domain does exist or someone buys it and misuse it to post pornography or something... I tried with the blog in Miami episode where Ryan and Delko are refered to Jake Gyllenhaal and A Rod :p

There is something that doesnt really annoy me but it just wouldn't happen in real life. The fact that when they are at a crime scene even though they waer gloves, there is no ohter protective clothing. I mean you see it on the news that when there is a major crime scene you will the forensics wearing white overalls, masks, hair net things to stop the transfer of fibers or hairs but the CSI teams never do that. How can they expect to find anything that doesnt come from one of them.
I was wondering about this too. But... hey, it's TV! They have to look good or we would complain cuz we can't make beautiful screencaps :p That's why they wander through crime scene in Armani jackets (and perfect hair, even after triple shifts) instead of those fullbody overalls with hairnet thing :D

And about Cath drama and all... I mean, that's why CSI is in the drama category. You need the drama. Without it, you'll be watching Discovery Channel. I agree sometimes they could go over the top, but if the characters' life are fine, ok, no trouble, happy go lucky, we'd go "Oh this is boring"

You know what they say: "The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense" It's true!

The one thing that annoys me....

.....is the fact that the main TV station here is only on Season 3 of CSI:LV. But I'm getting over that.

..... I guess how unrealistic it can be sometimes but I got over it/ Tis my brother that doesn't liek the unrealisticness. He ended up shouting at the TV screen onetime....That, was funny.

Lawyers that defend the criminals just bug me all together. [no offense to any lawyers]

It also annoys me when the criminal gets away and it's clear as plastic to the judge, etc, that they commited the crime.
